I did that some years ago, although I couldn’t afford to go all out as you have. I was thinking of a more open concept ala buggy style.

Very nice! I had a red c6 vert for a while then me wife and I drove to bowling green and feel in love with the c7 grand sports that just started rolling off the line. A few months later we pulled the trigger.

I get regular emails from factory five. They have nice kits that are well engineered but still more than I’m likely to invest.

I think this is a very reasonable setup for those who are not interested in the 3 wheel experience. Bonus...they have used/demo/return units at a discount: https://landingear.com/used.php

Personally, I'd never replace 2 wheels with 3. You drive 3, you ride 2. If I'm going to drive instead of ride, I'm getting four wheels and various safety features that make the 3 wheel vehicles silly IMHO. I have never cared for 3-wheelers like the Spyder because I feel they are just a way to cheat by making and selling cars without meeting the regulations other small car makers have to. Are they fun? Sure. A go cart would be a gas to run around town with, also, but I'd get arrested because it has 4 wheels but no safety requirements instead of the legal "4 wheels but no safety requirements" I got a 2-seat convertible to go along with the bikes, and with all the cellphone drivers out there it's getting harder and harder to swing a leg over a seat now. When Vicki & I go out on a nice day now, it's almost always the convertible.

Didn’t even test drive one but I assumed they handle pretty well.

Didn’t even test drive one but I assumed they handle pretty well. Fell in love with the looks of the Solstice when I first saw one in 2005 or '06 I think. Took a test drive, all ready to buy. 185 HP, it's shadow outran it up a hill. I was sooooooo bummed, and took it back. 2007 they come out with the turboed GXP version; 260 HP and all the optional handling package stuff included. There was a waiting line for them to buy at $1k over sticker when I called the owner to ask about the "silver one in your window". I was surprised when he asked if I was tire kicking or serious (I'd bought 2 cars their in the past) because there was snow & salt on the roads (1st week in Feb). I asked him if he'd take a dollar off of sticker so I could save some face, if I dropped off a deposit check for it that day. He said yes, and being a Saturday he was heading home in a few minutes. He gave me the name of one of the newer salesman to write it up and get the commission, and off I went with a whole $100 bill to seal the deal. In WI like many states, there's a penalty if you break a deal without cause, in WI it was 5% of total price, so $1 is all you really need. Handles like a rocket and corners superb. Lots of rubber for a car that doesn't weigh anything, and almost a perfect 50/50 weight distribution.

I have searching for a good deal on a c7 convertible for a close friend and neighbor but they are few and far between in NY! 39k is about a cheap as they seem to go the flip side is it means my 17` grand sport is holding it value somewhat. I love my car but I wish I waited to buy a used one as not to take the hit on the first year depreciation.

Love my Challenger, and probably one of the reasons I haven't ridden as much over the last couple of seasons. Gotta find a nice balance this year. Also hoping for less rain!

Good looking Mopar. I love black. I hate black. I’ve never driven one of the Challengers but I imagined they are nice. They seem to be selling good for years so I’m thinking the used market will be good and some bargains to be found as years go by.
