I thought it was the Florida Gators.

This guy was found in GA.  What a big boy.  I've seen them of course, but never up close in nature where I live.

If this one appeared in my back yard (after I got over the heart attack), I'd call my county animal control, because I think it would be fun to watch them wrestle him.  Hey guys, I can loan you some pepper spray.   Grin

weighing an estimated 700 pounds and measuring 13 feet and 4 inches in length

The only way these animals get this large is by avoiding humans.
I think that's sound advice for many of us.

looks massive... then you see the man behind the gator is almost further away from it than the cameraman.... Still big but camera angle helps it look massive

Bigger than anything in New Zealand  Evil 2funny

Shocked   I go on a annual golf trip, down to Jekyl island, Ga. There are 3.5 courses on the island, plenty of water hazards. These creatures are all over the place. You must be cognizant of them. I for one, never play my ball if I've hit it within 10'-12' of the water. I've sat in the clubhouse and watched as a massive gator walked out of one body of water, across a fairway and into another body of water. Guys in the clubhouse had a name for him which, I can't remember.

Steve Irwin used to call them sharp toothed frogs because of their milder disposition and way their eyes bug out compared to crocks.
