Look at history and you will see that who really *built* this country were mostly immigrants from Europe and their children (1st gen).

And who is driving it to the ground are native born politicians that don't really care about the country or the people.

I would say that love for the country, honesty and work to ensure a bright future for the USA should be the primary factors to choose the representatives for the government.

I know how my country was founded. This isn't the 1776 anymore. And yes I think if you ran for any government office you should be disqualified also.  That's the way it was. Immigrants then pledged allegiance to the united states when they came here and became citizens.  Not the case today. Being sworn in on a Koran and having a Pakistany flag in your office does not make you a US representative. I have no problem with keeping with you home countries culture but if that culture interferes with the US constitution it is wrong. For instance if your calling for Shari law to be implemented in this country that is a direct violation of our constitution. You want Shari law go back where you came ftom.
