What baldo said about watching the weather

The mountain has claimed many lives over the years, some by hypothermia in June.
The day I was there it was in the 90's at the base and in the 50's with a 20-30 mph wind at the top.
Every one in shorts and tshirts freezing their butt off.
There's some great riding in that area, but some of the secondary roads can use resurfacing.
Like Dan stated, the Kancamagus is a great ride. Lincoln nh on one side, which is a town with good places for lunch and at the other end, Conway, North Conway, which has a crap load of factory outlet stores.
The "Knotch" is a good ride and you can see where "The man is the mountain" used to be.
