Half cloudy.

I'd been meaning to photograph this pond for a long time. Today the water was a mirror.

Stopped at the top of the Richard Russel Parkway. It was 40 F and the wind was blowing razor blades.  Shocked

Coming up the eastern side a slight breeze. Western side there must have been a 30 mph blow with stronger gusts.

Hooray for heated gloves AND heated grips.

The ice wall was looking sparse.

Jims Smokin Q was slammed at 11.45. He just reopened for the season so the locals were getting their much needed fix.

Steve's Steakhouse aka The Cookie Jar buffet in Blairsville has closed.

Rib Country was my third choice.

BBQ for the masses. Pretty generic but still a tasty meal.

Triple fudge brownie with ice cream was excellent.

A balmy 50F on the ride home.  Cheesy

That is the saying.

But the weather channel is so much more accurate.  Grin

Except in Florida in the summer - it WILL thunderstorm sometime in the afternoon, but it will be fine before and after.
