What was the class?  How many others were in your class?

You've still the old style saddle on that Valkyrie.  You need to replace it if you're going to ride much distance. A 2000+ OEM can be had for $90 or there are fancier more expensive options.

I personally prefer the OEM
Had a Corbin when I bought 12 yrs ago,  traded/sold for OEM.

Nothing wrong with liking the OEM but there is a distinct difference in OEM 2000+ and the older OEM.  The 2000+ is an improvement.

I wouldn't tell anyone he can't but I would say he shouldn't.   Wink   I did specifically say the older style saddle the newer style rides very well.

Beautiful bike greggh... beautifully detailed as well...congrats  cooldude Regardless of the class entered, I'm sure she received plenty of approving looks.
Funny thing about seats...folks been asking me for 17 years why I still ride my old Corbin seat on my Interstate... it beats all others I've tried out during that time, as far as my a** is concerned... which is the only thing that matters

Mothers for waxing
Mothers chrome polish, the glass cleaner to keep it shiny
Polished the forks and triple tree 7 yrs ago, aluminum polish to bring back the chrome look.
If I did anything to the seat. Would recover with leather.
Class that I was placed in was Asian Class, VTX and a shadow were my competition.
Regarding distance of travel on my seat.
It's unlikely when I travel that I will stop before a 10 hour ride. There are only 2 friends that will ride this with me.
All 122,867??? Miles are mine except for the 14k it had when I bought it.
I entered simply because my son and have gone for 17 plus yrs and lost yet i vowed to enter mine this year so people that have never seen a valk would have the chance to see a power cruiser!
Thanks all for the kind words.

But she do clean up Nice!  2funny greggh-you have a Valkyrie Motorcycle you should be and appear to be Very PROUD of. I really Enjoy stories of our old gals takin First place here and there!  smitten RIDE SAFE
