Picture if you will, it is 1999 and all three Valk options are available to you. You are picking up your brand new two tone Valk in a couple of weeks and the dealer says you have to pick your two tone colors now, any color you want.

What are they in what order?

Tank color and Tank Horns color?

Go.

I would go with the black and copper that they sold in Europe but not in the US.

I like the stock black and champagne, and blue and silver best.

If I could have any colors, probably the black with silver stripe standards they made, or the bumblebee yellow black.

Don't tell me you are thinking about painting that cherry black one you just snagged?  I would not do that, though some tasteful (small-subdued) pinstripe or airbrush work to the existing paint could make it customly yours alone.

Here's my black supervalk interstate, with dual pinstripe (imitation of older BMWs).  Mine was done white, but I would have preferred ivory.

And the blue fire breathing dragons on my trunk bike.

Both came this way (to me).  They did not come with all the chrome.

With the same paint design, I would order my Interstate in either Black with Copper or Black with Silver.

Always thought that a Black and White Interstate would look cool as well.

Interstate with the black and silver of the '99 Standard/Tourer.  Same stripe color.

I was hoping for more different color ideas that are not stock, put to the stock stripes and horns.  I want to create them in photoshop to view and evaluate.    uglystupid2  I like the few that did think outside of the colors offered.

I was thinking of the same thing if (or when) my blue and silver ever started to look tacky.

I was going to go with a the 1957 Chevy colors of Larkspur blue, and ivory, in a nostalgic Harley type theme, the tank sides would be all ivory instead of the scallop design the valk tanks have. With wide whitewalls of course/
Sort of like the black and copper one above.

Also did a Maroon / Silver paint job that looked good too

This red and a light silver would look good too Cheesy

I would take a look at the colors used in early Stingrays.

I used to work as a Chrysler/Jeep tech, and there was a color called Platinum that came on a few vehicles like the 5.9 Limited Grand Cherokee. It is a VERY metallic silver. I would like to see that as the main color, with House of Kolor Cobalt Blue Shimrin as the secondary.

Very deep purple and a bright violet. Or reversed. Maybe candy tangerine and candy root beer. RIDE SAFE.

Black with a tangerine color and silver pinstriping.

VW also made a really cool silver/blue color in the early 70s that was a good looking color. That with black would be nice looking.

Black with a dark iridescent blue and lighter offset pin stripe would be subtle and nice looking.

I see lots of metallic thoughts and I am going to explore solid colors as well, I can surely see how the black jade is a winner and the yellow cream!

Now that looks sharp...would look equally as good in that colour combo with the trunk and with the stock paint scheme. Is that just a basic White? Seeing these pics now, I would bump Black & White ahead of the Black/Copper, Black/Silver options I mentioned in my previous post.

I really like my Black & Red & Chrome ...even though its the most popular colour combo Interstate, Valks are a rare breed in these parts so it still stands out most places I ride. I recall my first Inzane though in 2015...riding into the parking lot and seeing a sea of Black & Red Interstates...I sure blended in there. I'm far from needing paint, but if I do get a second Valk or if in another 18 years I need to paint mine Wink, B & W could be the colour to change to cooldude

Thank you for the compliments. That's GM Pearl white like you see in Cadillac escallade, I do also have the trunk in the same paint scheme barely put it on. I like solo looks that's just my preference unless taking a long trip.
