San Antonio wrote it into a city contract that Chick Fil A isn't allowed in the city airport because they're too Christian...

https://www.foxnews.com/us/chick-fil-as-banishment-from-san-antonio-airport-prompts-investigation-by-texas-ag

BTW, the 3 specific charities that Chick Fil A donates to that the city has an issue with are The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Salvation Army, and the Paul Anderson Youth Home.

Sure hope no one here donates to any evil charities like those, or you too might be blackballed by a leftist city.

There is something seriously wrong with San Antonio. Chick-Fil-A is one of the most pleasant, friendly, helpful fast food restaurants out there. I've never had an unpleasant experiance at one (although some of them and sometimes have been very busy - not the fault of the restaurant).

Its also closed on Sundays, even during the Superbowl and does many charitable acts, its really no surprise that  they did this, but what is surprising is the AG is investigating it.

Never have we seen the battle between good and evil more pronounced than it is now. I am not really defining any players they do it themselves, but their actions speak for themselves and define their beliefs and allegiances.

I don’t know the motivation behind a lot of what is going on in our society but I’m happy with the boldness of those who do these things in the open. They really put it in your face, then it’s up to the rest of us to decide what we do or don’t do that says who we are.

I too am a fan of Chick-Fil-A as my grandsons has deem necessary to visit at least once a week. There training program for employees must be excellent as I have yet to have anything but a pleasant experience while there.

I have yet to figure out how they have two drive up lines taking orders that then converge into one lane and when you get to the pickup window they have the correct order in their hands. Most places can’t do that with a single file drive thru.

Can someone tell me how a conservative state like Texas could turn into such a bastian for liberalism?

I'm not a fan of the food and don't care about their religious/political leanings.

Too many get wound up about childish crap.

The voters of Antonio voted for their government. Good luck to them.  Roll Eyes

(Stolen from a meme making the rounds)

Chick-Fil-A has 37 cars in line, wait time 1 minute 54 seconds. Workers make it rain condiments on me and treat me like I'm their favorite cousin.

McDonalds has 2 cars in line, wait time is equivalent to the 1st half of the NBA Finals game. Makes it seem like their condiments are a brick of gold and treat me like I am the step dad they blame for their parent's divorce.

I’ve never been to a ChicFilA, so I can’t comment on their service or food. But your post reminded me of our recent trip to Europe. We would stop at McDonalds on occasion (13 year old grandson), they would only give you 2 packets of ketchup with your fries. If you asked for more it was 20 cents a packet.  Shocked (they do things different)

The Chick-Fil-A in Wake Forest NC is the busiest one on the east coast. The franchise owner would like to find a way to put more cars through the drive thru. I never got anything but stellar service when I went there.
Nice problem to have.

I don't live in Texas, and only offer my opinion.  I don't believe it is the fine state of Texas, or most of it's citizens that are responsible for this.  It is the localized, liberal strong holds like Austin and San Antone.  Both great places before the invasion.  I personally haven't met a Texan I didn't like and get along with.  Those I met allowed you to be a stupid as you could be without doing yourself or others harm.  That is freedom.  This Chick-Fil-A ban is the result of invaders or Texans who have lost their way.  Serk and Daniel, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The kid's grilled chicken meal is a great deal and you can pretend it's healthy...

Also, secret menu thing, you can trade the toy from the kid's menu for an ice cream cone...

I think they pay their employees a couple of extra dollars an hour and require
them not to be sullen :-) ... plus they get Sundays off... try the spicy chicken
sandwich, it is not real hot or anything, but is more crispy. I've discovered I
really like their roll up, and I don't usually like stuff like that... And I like their
cookie.

If you like hot wings or similar-go with the hot & spicy version. Mouthgasm. As for the political stuff, I'm afraid the NYC metro has to qualify as a hate group IMHO. Like Hobby Lobby, the founders/leadership of Chic Fil A is very Christian, to the point of not wanting to be in a position of making their employees work on the Sabbath. That's a tough position in a business that would sell a lot of product on a Sunday, and I can appreciate the fact they are able to stand by their convictions without hurting anyone. It's not like they are stoning gays or mutilating genitals.
Here in WI, you can't commercially sell cars/trucks on Sundays. Though it is something that's been discussed regarding overturning many times, it's never gotten any real support. The dealerships generally like it be cause they get more traffic on Saturdays and everybody gets one weekend day off without losing sales to another dealership. An added plus is that consumers can (and do, in huge numbers) wander through car lots taking notes, writing down VINs, checking CarMax on their phones without any pressure whatsoever for sales staff. I've done it my self many times, and I love it. Chick Fil A is an easy target, for people who wouldn't have the balls to do the same to a Muslim run business.

Says the guy with triplets! Didn’t know about the ice cream deal either! Since no one has mentioned it, you have to try the Chic-Fil-a dipping sauce, it can be addictive though. My grandsons are big dippers.

I could care less about their issues outside of the food.  If the food is good and I like it,  I will eat there regardless.

Serk,  you sound like me going to Culvers.  I get their kids meal which is cheaper around 5.29 (use to be a few years ago under 5 bucks) and is enough food but then you get to tear off their bag a coupon for free custard cone as well.  Plus, if you collect 10 of the other coupon or the cone coupon you get a FREE KIDS Meal is a GREAT deal (suppose to be ONLY for kids under 12 - oh well).  Basically, for a family of say 5 eating there,  it only takes 2 trips to Culvers to get ONE FREE kids meal good deal for sure.

But yeah, it's really good stuff.....

The food is really good, but the service pushes it over the top. As was mentioned, be sure to try the different sauces, the Chick-Fil-A sauce is great, and the lemonade they have (Even the sugar free version!) is good stuff.....

Never been to one,  but had never been to xaxby (sp?) before Roanoke. Had a decent meal there with DDT and even better conversation.

Do not care if ChikfilA chooses to close one day a week.  It is their company after all and this is supposed to be america

Shame that a city in the Republic would single them out for that reason or a religious reason.

Many stores in NJ are closed on sunday, they called them blue laws.

The shame of that is if a merchant observed Saturday as Sabbath they are at a big disadvantage being then closed 2 out of 7 days.

Also in NY you cant buy beer before noon on Sunday. Another archaic law.  What if you are having a bbq at noon or a picnic?
