"When You're Dead, Your Bank Account Goes to Zero"

Livin' Better Side of The Great Divide

We have winter up high, more to come and the road may be a bit dicey for a few weeks as more slopes are to be shot and slides removed.

In spite of the inconvenience, it is part of the ever beautiful back country and why we choose to live here. Smiley

Maybe not exactly why I choose to live here, but we sure need the precipitation!  Especially that southwest part of the state that was in a bad drought.  Last I heard the Gunnison Watershed was over 150% snowpack, and we're getting hit again as I type this.

Unfortunately, we'd need about three winters just like this to fully get out of our current drought.  I don't want to think about that right now, I just want the glaciers in my drive to start melting so I can ride again.

Springtime in the Rockies!

Red Mountain Pass is open. I RODE up there yesterday; sorry Seth....  there is a lot
of sand on the road that slowed me down in the turns but it was fun with all the
deep snow around and the avalanche runs were surprising with all the tree debris....
