Heads up!.....new CraigsList Scam

Just a heads up for everyone using CL.
Now they want to "verify you are the one posting the ad" and want you to send them a code.
Do not do it. Apparently once you return the code to them they can attach themselves to your CL account.
We just posted some furniture today on CL and this started happening so I looked it up to make sure it was a scam.
Instead I replied with a simple two word reply and it was not "let's dance".

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like they set up a CL account with your # and want you to confirm/verify the # is correct by getting the verification code.

You did right, you search the internet at the scam trick sites.

My auntie used to send me all those virus emails, the ones about "tell everyone". I started to send her the links back for her to read that they are viruses and fake.
