Good. I have a bit of an issue with him outside fighting, but, I'm not going to second guess him. He did what was necessary. Good for the LEOs not arresting him. In NYS I'm afraid he would have been taken away in cuffs and charged. I'm also thinking the AK was probably not a real AK in that it wasn't fully auto.

I don't know anything of this case. But when I've read of similar stories, they seem to usually have been a drug deal gone bad.

You sort of get that impression from the article that was linked - while the guy with the AK47 was right in defending himself, he is not exactly a lawabiding citizen either.

          Had far Too Many folks I respect wearing a C I B or were Special Forces Tellin me ain't no sucha thing as Too much ammunition. Glad he sent 3 of the 5 on a permanent retirement thingy. Will it deter others? Sadly truthfully I myself doubt it will. The short sighted political types that pass these ridiculous laws that do NOT help squat must for the most part live in gated communities with armed guards otherwise they might See or Know what the people that elected them are going thru on a day to day basis.
