Yep $30 to mount a tire here unless you bought the tire from said mounter. But I am
Sure that $30 is factored in somewhere Undecided

Gotta pay to play, I guess.  Austones cost me, as does mounting 'em at $45 a pop IF I can get an appointment at the only shop in town I trust.  Plus the Ride-On tire sealant/balancer.  I just paid a $47 annual license/registration tag, but no required inspection.  Gas is on the rise, too...

I personally am just glad that I am healthy enough and have the means to keep this dragon on the road.  It is time for the annual inspection.  I always get a laugh when they ask to hear the horn.  BigBF Quad Horns will rattle the windows in the gas station from inside the garage.  I always ask them "are you sure you really need to hear the horns?"...  hahaha

Anyway, I give thanks that I am able to ride, for I know sometime in the future, I may not. angel

O2S, glad you got out for a tire scuffing ride brother.

Dennis,

The whole thing is priceless for me! I'm not made of money either, and all those 'Grants' and 'Franklins' leaping out of my wallet do NOT go unnoticed! Still, when we're moving and that unavoidable grin comes on my face, no thought of the cost enters into the process... All addicts understand how that is... guys and gals just like us... Good to read of your continuing 'journey'... thanks for sharing.

Thanks for All the responses to my ramblins. I KNEW when i joined the V R C C i had Indeed found a good group to be part of!  cooldude I also Thank GOD for the ability and the desire too continue riding.  angel RIDE SAFE.

If you add up everything ever spent on our bikes, including the initial price, that total would not dent the value of the wind we ride against and the smiles on our faces.  And the more miles ridden, the greater the value.
