Nine days, 1,679 miles, two motorcycles, two riders, three states, many MANY friends both old and new, riding up to 9000 feet, freezing cold, blazing hot sun (Almost no rain though!), hard winds, and memories made that will last a life time. So proud of that kid, in so many ways.

Kali and I are home safe.

It was very touch and go a few times, but overall that kid did GREAT! Much thanks to Valker for doing the MSF class he taught at Inzane on "Dancing with the Fat Lady". Kali did it both times he offered it and her slow speed/parking lot handling increased greatly afterwards!

I think I remember seeing ya', did we honk and/or wave?

My hat is off to you Serk, and your wife, for encouraging Kali to be who she wants to be.  I grew up in a generation where (at least in our house), the girls were not allowed to ride bikes.  I was in my 30’s before I was able to follow my dream.  Y’all are doing parenting right by not holding her back just because she is female.  Well done!

IN a few more  years she will be asking you to take the Valk to college right?

At least then if that happens, you can add another cycle to the stead??   coolsmiley

Glad to hear you both made it safely. It's awesome that you have these times to share. I'm  thinking you need to start collecting valks, you have tripplets on thier way to wanting to do the same possibally.

Can you imagine teaching 3 teenagers to ride at the same time ?  Shocked I say he should buy 3 Honda Monkeys right now and let them go wild around the Dallas neighborhoods. Survival of the fittest.  Smiley I am personally impressed that Serk survived the trip to Taos and back. I don't think I would have.  cooldude

That was her first post-birth...

(Silent toast To Absent Friends)

Although she was there the year before while still in utero...

And another cool one, Tarynn riding the very Valk that Kali rode to Taos, while 4 months pregnant with Kali...
