For the price these are hard to beat. They usually last me 3-4 years each time

Like the links provided, if you go to tactical (swat style) boots websites, you will find good quality boots in narrow or wide and hopefully sized correctly.  The choices of soft, hard, steel toe, full lace, side zip, waterproof or not, leather or cordura tongue, insulated or not, smooth or suede outers, give nearly infinite choices.  They all have better nonslip soles than any motorcycle specific boots I ever saw.

When I order Danner boots (spendy), I get exactly the right size for my short fat feet.

Also, I have bike specific boots that may be a bit more water and windproof, but none are very good for walking around in, and give me sore feet in no time.  My swat boots are made for walking round in.

One other thing about swat boots for riding.  The better (more spendy) boots can be resoled, but the less spendy (and majority or them) cannot.  I've had foot dragging incidents while riding that tore the sole loose; never the whole thing but a quarter to half of it came loose, and flapped when walking.  I was able to glue them back on with shoe-goop of various sorts, but they came loose again after awhile.

My resolable Danners have never come loose, but my non-resolable Danners and Magnums did come loose.  And I believe those boots (and sole glue) also tend to dry out while sitting in the basement over the winters.  I never had a bike specific boot sole come loose.

I believe nearly all bike specific boots are made in Asia.  While some swat boots are too, you can get top quality American made swat boots.

Give Rocky Boots a try.  Dry and comfortable for riding or walking.
The pair I am wearing is 10-11 years old now and still in great shape.
I wear them while riding almost exclusively these days, and the only place you can see any wear at all is the top of the left boot where it raises the shifter.

Another vote for Rocky boots here. I also have a narrow foot. I chose the Fort Hood water-proof, insulated tactical boot some 10-12 years ago. They were comfortable right out of the box. Like JimC, they're still going strong, with only the wear from the shifter showing.

Do you have a particular pair in mind?  Oil resistance sole ?

Thanks for the information

Most areas have police supply houses that will carry a decent selection of swat style boots.

Find yours and go and try some on.

If you find some you like, you can see if they can be had cheaper on line, now that you have discovered your perfect fit at the store.

Rocky makes a lot of different good boots:

I've always like their Fort Hood boot. (waterproofs for about $90)

Though for cold, you really want a leather tongue;  even if the cordura is waterproof, cordura tongues let in cold air at speed.
