Hi everybody! After having been a member of the VRCC, and present in different forums in Europe since 2008, I came across this website with the (passive) help of Beer van Huet. Being a member of the organization committee for the InZane XIV in Switzerland, I thought I'd introduce myself... My name is Albert (Albi, Al, etc.), I live in the northern part of Switzerland, approx. 20 miles west of Zurich, with my wife and two adult daughters who do not live in our house any more (freedom... ) I celebrated my 60th birthday last year, and made myself a present, replacing my old Valkyrie by a new one, since the clutch and water pump were gone. Mending would have cost me an arm and a leg, and so I sold my "old Lady" to a friend of mine in Germany. I now own a black and copper, year 1998 but 1st registration in 2001 only, 33000 miles on the clock and running well. I now look forward to being a more or less active member of this forum and maybe meeting one of you one day... Cheers, and take care Albert, a.k.a. Welcome Feuerstein (Al). known for his theory of intelligence which states “it is not ‘fixed’, but rather modifiable”

Welcome Albert. Greetings from a fellow Swiss. Well sorta. I was born in Geneve, now a naturalized citizen born of American parents overseas, post WWII. Could have dual citizenship, or even Swiss. If they would have me - well I hear they are rather picky so maybe not. Left when I was a baby so have no recollection of that time. Returned to visit in the 60's as a teen. So I can't be President. Oh wait, maybe I can...

Welcome Al. It's too bad the dates of the Switzerland InZane will conflict with U.S. InZane. I really wanted to go!

Hello and Welcome!
How about some pictures, the bike, the city, the country? all are welcomed and looking forward to seeing some of your riding roads.

Welcome Al. It's too bad the dates of the Switzerland InZane will conflict with U.S. InZane. I really wanted to go! Sorry for that but we had no clue about the rules, and we was not informed by anybody since the responsible at VRCC Switzerland have changed. On the other hand, we could organize a "private rideout" with a group of Americans coming over...
