Years ago when Inzane had many vendors we had a vendor that, if I remember correctly made exhaust systems. Anyway his wife would walk around the parking lot in a bikini. One Valkyrie rider was riding into the parking lot and parked. He watched her strut across the parking lot. When she was gone he went to lean and realized he didn't put the kickstand down. To late,over he went. He had many witnesses and help picking it back.
I was adjusting my mirrors in the garage once. Got my wrench,hopped on the bike and out of habit kicked the stand up. Finished my adjustments and leaned over to realize the stand wasn't there. Now as you know once the Valk get to a certain angle you are not going to stop it. So there I am,trapped under my bike. Someone eventually came. Might have been the noise of the bike falling over or me throwing the wrench across the garage. Not sure which. Lol.

When I was a young'un back in Tulsa, they had motorcycle LEO's. They patrolled at night a lot (know from first hand experience). One LEO was about to go off shift, long night, when he came to a stop light. Forgot to put a foot (feet) down. He went over. Seems a reporter heading to work witnessed it even, not pic's though. was a article in the morning news.

Did this at a Patriot Guard ride. Having all those Harley riders see this was devastating.

I posted an embarrassing  one years ago from my Shadow days describing how I discovered that attempting forward motion with the forks locked inhibits changing direction - - and staying upright! |
