I remember Bon S converting the Interstate tail lights to LED, but also remember him retiring from that.
My question is... is there anyone else who is doing this, or knows of an easy way to do it .
 thanks in advance

Message him, he is still here (U.S.) I think, he might be able to help you with it.

Heat the taillight units in an
over at 225 F for 12 minutes. Your oven and time may vary. The adhesive is
then soft and the taillight can then be pried apart without damage. Just
separate the halves and let them cool. Set aside the red lenses until
you're ready to reassemble things.
To reassemble the lenses put the bases of the taillights in
a 225 F oven for 10 minutes then add the red lenses for the last 2
minutes. Once everything is hot, remove from oven and press back together.

Remember these light fixtures are no longer available, proceed with caution.

I have one of his and have looked into doing my other Interstate.  All the information is on this site.  As he will say, he did not create the idea just using his knowledge to help others and make a couple bucks.  I searched it a couple years ago and found several blogs discussing it.  They are awesome.  The taillights on a stock Interstate are so bad my wife almost ran into me with the car a couple times in the daylight.  If she looked away she swore she could not tell if my brakes were on or not.

I did this mod a while back, I purchased another set of lights in case things didn't go well. I have used the oven method many times through out the years and it works great. I actually poured a self leveling material into the housing to give me a flat surface to stick the LED Clusters. I used Radiantz 48 LED 1.85" Cluster for the outside lights and the 25 LED Cluster 1.25" for the inside. Wired them all up as Running and Brake, these are bright.
