Sparklight replaced Cable America in this neck of the woods 6 or 7 year back.When I went from desk top to my first laptop I replace the router & modem. Informed S L and I had NO equipment rental fees. All good up to the When of me switching locations fer the roof over ma head!
So Monday 9/29/2025 after breakfast I got to the S L business office to see about transfering my svc to the nu2me digs. Well after much key clicking New account number-or so I thought!
No so fast sport fans. Tuesday 9/30/2025 I cal S L tech support and you can enter either the phone # or the account # with the phone # being the shorter of the 2 options. Neither # was in the S L system and surprise surprise I'm missing a digit in that new acount #! And the lady I wuz talking to either wouldn't or couldn't transfer me to the West Plains office! Well Wednsday the S L tech arrived and informed me he hadtried calling me numerous time. Hmm sez I te phone IS working As I've made and receieved calls! What # are you calling? @ #s were turned around BUT he got mee hooked up and oprating! Again Not so fast sports fans! Yeaterday 10/2/2025 no svc on interweb! WTH over? So taday 10/3/2025 again after breakfast back to the S L office in West plains. Tween the 2 gals there was Finally determined WHY I had no interweb yesterday 10/2/2025 as the tech had already entered the S #s of their modem and router BUT I supplied my own equipment and me being back on line RIGHT NOW means at best Maybe I'll be on line a bit longer that I wuz on 10/1/2025!
