Shocked Yes I did, I’m official retired. Started in medical sales in 1981. My last 36 years has been with the same company. I’ll miss what I’ve been doing for over half of my life but I’ll find plenty to do Evil

It's a wonderful feeling of freedom. I am 5 years retired after 45yrs at the same company. Don't miss the job at all. I do miss some of the fellow workers. Best wishes for a fulfilling retirement. It will be what you make of it.

Congratulations.   cooldude

I missed some good friends (at work) too, but never stepped foot in DC again.

Staying busy and useful and healthy is a good plan.

Congratulations, Keith!!  Hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do. Retired from OTR trucking in November 2014. Went back to work driving Intrastate part time in July 2015, then Full time in December 2015. Retired for good, October 2018, less then 2 months before my 70th birthday. Now I ride one or the other of my Bikes pretty much once a week, year 'round. Life is good. See you at Inzane in June.

Wink Great to hear from you guys, Thank you! Yes, I’m looking forward to hanging up my work scrubs. I’ve been blessed to have fun while I work for a living. angel The people I met along the way were good folks. Lots to look forward to and I know I’ll be keeping busy making more rides too!   coolsmiley

Fantastic Keith cooldude

34 years at the last place and don't miss it. Definitely miss a lot of the people but on call 24/7 isn't that much fun.

Well congrats, you'll enjoy your time even more now and you will find you're busy most of the time. The difference is...you can usually schedule your time easier. That means you can work the TO-DO list in easier between Valkyrie events.  Wink  I worked past 65 and have been retired 22 years next month. If my wife had been in good health I would have worked at least another couple years...but was not to be. I retired in 2004, that gave us about another four years before she got to the point where she needed fulltime attention. Hope to see you at IZ in June.

cooldude  Well  was  out on a Valkyrie ride in my new stomping ground and found this place for a kayak trip. So I reached out to my friend  Greg in Thomasville about 60 miles south of here and we set it up. Great trip down the Kinchafoonee Creek. This creek is the biggest one I've ever been on. We got on the creek by 11am at 65degrees and off the creek at 5pm maybe 75 degrees. It was a clean and seldom used creek. Deepest part maybe 8ft but mostly 2-4 feet deep. Started with a nice flow but further down the creek it slowed a good bit as it widened and got deeper. There are some nice water trips in my future on a kayak! smitten
