Mother-in-laws Ram pick-up had 312,000 trouble free miles on it when it developed a clunk when she put it in gear, I told her it was probably just a drive shaft u-joint going south. She said she wasn't going to put any money in a truck with that many miles on it.  "WTH"  Shocked

uni-joints aren't hard to do, plus it's a lot cheaper than a new vehicle payment!!  (I tell my financially idiotic brother that too, he doesn't listen to anything I say.....)

we bought a 2012 Durango, I myself like the vehicle, but the first year had some serious questions!  it's planed out now, running pretty decent, although we don't bring it to the dealer we bought it from 'cause the service guy was an idiot.

It's hard to find good service even from a so-called trained mfg. dealership regardless of the mfg.  I have had at least 1/2 the times coming into mfgs. dealership to fix one thing and it comes back with yet another thing that needs fixing that THEY CAUSED.  Had that issue with GM, Toyota, and Dodge doesn't matter who the dealership is that is why I call them stealerships.  Who in their right mind deserves to charge 110 bucks per hour OR MORE for such crappy service!   tickedoff

I have the "not enough threads" engine!!  last fall I replaced my plugs with autolite plugs.  I found out right away that was a mistake 'cause the truck started to sputter.  today I replaced the autolites with NGK Iridiums, Accel plug coils, and some new Bosch fuel injectors.  man, she's running good again!!  this spring i'll pull the coils and recheck the torque on the plugs just to keep my mind at rest regarding the plugs "blowing out"!!

yeah, I'm NOT a happy "ford" camper.
