Damn, who pissed momma Nature off?

Ya'll get ur butt out in this downpour and apologize before me tomatoes drown.

Well Lake Garnett (next door neighbor just below me) is about 1/2 flood stage now.  If this keeps up very long it will overflow when the runoff from the Little League fields drain down here.  At least I'mm safe from it.

And I was just gettin ready to take the Chevy out and run his wheels off.

Damn the luck no how.

I've not been here since Tuesday. Our son moved up from Virginia, and we've been helping him unpack and watch the grandkids. Also, stuff like putting up shelves, installing trash bins, etc.

Did I win yet?  Cheesy

Valkahuna, not yet.   Sorry about that.

I know how the moving bull stuff goes.

My youngest daughters ex-husband found someone else to dip his finger in, and wanted a Divorce.       His new mate makes lots of $$$$$ also.  They were married 3 weeks after they signed the final divorce papers.   She is a corporate lawyer.    As a Father's Day gift, she bought him a new 2012 Cadillac, that sporty one that has a list price way up in the sky, someone said it was $60K.   I haven't checked it out.      He had their 2 girls over the weekend, and when they got home they come running in and hollering guess what mommy, Daddy's got a new car, it is that expensive Cadillac.

The kid being a nice person like she is and her worthless Attorney, let him get away with murder, on what he paid and what he didn't pay.

He makes $100K a year, and has lots of $$$$ left over each month, so he blows it on something, so daddy here dips into his pocket and either pays something off or help her on a bill.

So. I paid the bill to move her less than a mile from her house to a Condo she is renting.   I got the '2 men and a truck'.    They were quick in loading and unloading.   They stuck plastic down, they were going to do it in the old house, and my daughter, says, he wants new carpet anyway, so walk all over it.  New house, I think they had every inch of the stairs, carpets and never left a mess.   When they left, everything was in a room designated on the box, and unloaded.   I hired them to pack, deliver and unpack.   I don't know about your areas, but I'd sure as hell use them again if needed.

I got stuck on O2 24/7 and that kind of makes it hard to ride or drive the Trike.

Dt & wife told me not to ride the bike.   Wife said if I did I was dead meat.

She swings a hell of a mean skillet.

Sorry to hear that, I just saw something on TV about a portable oxygen concentrator, could that be anything you could use? Agree with Hay about keeping Momma happy...

I use a portable concentrator when in the truck or Trike, but when I walk round I have to carry a tank.   The tanks are only good for 5 hours.     At home I have another unit that refills them, the portable concnetrator it isn't strong enough to supply the needed O2 to fill tanks.

So if and when I go somewhere, I count about how much time I'll not be in the Trike or truck while out and about.    Then I figure out how many portables I need and then go see if my supplier will rent me that many, this trip they are letting me have 5 extras.    On my trip to Colorado to get my trailer, I'm taking the rental concentrator that will supply O2 to me and my CPAP, and 8 little tanks.   That will give me 40 hours to be out and about.   The portable concentrator runs off of the truck battery and  wall socket at night or anytime in the Motel.  Get ready for bed and switch it to the CPAP and snooze away.

Kids, Rex and his bride, are going with to handle some of the driving, and entertainment while gone.    Figure we will be out and about 6 days.   Leave Thursdays July 12 and get back 7 days later.   Yeah I know, that is Friday the 13th.  Rex's bride has never been to Colorado, so we are going to swap trailers the 12th, then hit some attractions and come back through Kansas so as to stop in KC to see some relation before heading home.

For hotglue's, I was going for a Motor home and then just take my home equipment with me.

Thought I had it pretty much covered.

The Motor home rental fell through.    I couldn't get up in and out of it.   I could get out, but gettin in was a nightmare without handrails.

So, we were back to square 1.

Then I contacted my equipment rental place for assistance in getting me into travel mode.

Their 1st suggestion fell through as it was too far away from the source.   Hotglue's was in Southern Texas and the nearest supplier was in Dallas.   They couldn't or wouldn't guarantee everyday coverage on the tanks.   So that pessed that one off.

One of the guys here who does most of the field grunt work for my current supplier, and I sat down and batted heads.    This one we are going to try was his idea, since we would be on the road most of the time.

He gave me a phone # I'm to call if it gets to the point of no O2 left, these people will make emergency drops of tanks if needed, or just plain ole replacement of rental tanks.   Sounded like real helpful people when I talked to them.   They were willing to meet me some place daily to give me full tanks.  Told her that was almost impossible, due to sigh seeing.   They agreed but said if you are empty, CALL US on this #, it is for emergencies only.   Said okay, we give it a try.
