Hey Mike, have you captured all the page winners yet?
Just curious. You said something about a book or something.
I can't find the post I'm looking for where you commented about it.
Stay safe up there in Cherokee. Good town, liked the locals when we used to stop at that one restaurant, seems like it was close by the statue of the Indian Princess. Never did stop to read all about her, but it was a great picture background.

Statue of the Indian princess is in Pocahontas. Don't know what the restaurant would be by the statue. Ate at the "Home Plate" restaurant downtown there. That was pretty good. We don't have statues in Cherokee. But we do have some real good restaurants.

Hummmmm. Guess I got my towns mixed up. Pocahontas is the town I was thinking off. Isn't there a Eaton joint North of the Statue about a 1/2 mile or so? Seems like there was a Sale Barn close by it. My rememberer don't work too well anymore as you can tell. Dug back in my photo albums and found a couple of pictures taken in Cherokee. My riding buddy who passed a few years ago was the memory holder of towns, Eaton joints and things to look at. RIP Frank.

When we took trips he had got all the state maps, he marked out our route and then cut the maps to fit his map holder. He was a good leader till he got lost, then he paniced like a little kid who wanted his mommy. We rode many miles in all the lower 48 states. This is a map our the trips we did together.

We had regular horses spook and tear hell out of wagons, but never a pair of Asses as you called them. They were Mike & Mollie. We put them in a couple of horse pulls, like tractor pulls. You would hook up with 12 people on the sled, lined up along the pull area was men, women and kids who stepped on the sled until they couldn't pull anymore. Mike & Mollie always took it out the end.

Cool. My step Dad and his Dad had a pair. They did contract work for a local mine pulling wagon loads of coal out with them.

Apparently someone is deleting their post so as to change the outcome of the page winners.
But, I noticed on one of my losses, I'd lost 4 posts. DUH..........
I don't remember deleting them.
