New Commemorative Pistol Ruger is coming out with a new pistol in honor of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives. It will be named the “Congressman”. It doesn't work and you can't fire it.  |

The irony of all this is that Ruger actually did make a special edition gun in honor of a politician... After Governor Rick Perry pulled his Ruger LCP and dropped a coyote that was staring him and his dog down, Ruger came out with a special edition LCP Coyote edition, for sale in Texas only, to commemorate this. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/27/AR2010042705323.html Now, there are a LOT of things about our Governor that I disagree with, but I gotta respect that he still carries. And he doesn't just talk the talk. While campaigning for president I got to meet him. I was carrying, and I wasn't frisked, checked, barred or anything else, was able to walk right up to the governor with my weapon on me and have my picture taken with him. Not many politicians walk the talk to that level! (I'm the one on the left, the guy in the blue shirt is my dad)  |

Serk, I heard that coyote story but didn't know Ruger made a commemorative LCP. I'm a Ruger fan and that's good to know. Good story, good photo, thanks for sharing  |
