Mike, thanks for the Valk related thread.  Mine isn't the stock color and I really like it.  I also like the copper color of Warlock's bike, but my favorite color is blue.  Smiley

Yeah, I like the blue-stripe Standards, yours is the only blue stripe Interstate I know of,
and it is sharp... isn't there an orange Interstate with a white stripe out there... ?

This is a stock blue and white stripe Standard.  But I only know of two with stripes added to the bags...

RIP Tom...

I'm not 100% sure but I think I have the rear wheel and final drive,drive-shaft off this bike. I know it was a Florida memeber who had passed away and his wife had his friend sell some parts off his bike. I can't remember the dude's name but he had a sharp orange early 70's Chevy pick-up that he showed in car shows. He came to Gatlinburg, TN to The Rod Run and had the parts with him.

Thanks for the comment. I ended up selling the bike and bought my wife a Can Am Spyder. It was worth it cause I now enjoy riding with the wife.

Love blue also. Looks great. Almost painted it blue instead of the cooper color. My wife's Spyder is almost that color blue.

Mine is a 97 Standard that started out black.
The original/previous owner had it custom painted waaaaaay back when and put on the Corbin seat.
I've added Boss 42 saddle bags, switchblade windshield, National cycle light bar and lowers, etc.
I like the white color.  Steve Smiley
