I recently ordered a handlebar mounted clock from "clocks for bikes" after reading a post here... No affiliation, just sharing a very positive experience. This was the VRCC post I found them on... http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,15769.0.htmlI make allot of online purchases, this was the best I can recall. They emailed me immediately to confirm my purchase and then again for shipping info. Free shipping, polite, courteous, strong communication and follow up. Here's what put them over the top, as if they weren't already. A hand written thank you note, folks all I can say is WOW I will show a photo of the clock installed later, it's my birthday gift and was taken from me before I could get a photo. I bought the black faced clock you can see on their website. From my experience Ross & Linda are fine folks to do business with NO AFILIATION http://www.clocks4bikes.com/

Those look good. What handlebar size clock did you get? and Hoser their site says "secured with a discrete stainless steel set screw."

Joanne has a set on her bike that my dad bought her as a gift. A couple of years later the thermometer quit working. We saw them at a bike event and told them about our problem. They handed us two new units, time and temp, so they would both match, free. Nice people.

You'll find me on that other post you noted. Linda and Ross are more than a cut above. What great people to deal with. I've got them on both bikes and have had them sent as gifts to friends. They also replaced one that came loose on me and was lost somewhere a few years ago... no questions asked... just a thank you for doing biz with them. That's after owning it for a few years already. You just can't beat that kind of customer service. They don't treat you like a customer... they treat you like a friend. Genuine people.

Really? A clock on a motorcycle? Especially a clock on a Valk? Does anybody really know what time it is. Does anybody really care?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUG !!! And YES, Linda and Ross are really a class act. Over the VTX Forums, they are highly spoken off. My story, like many others, goes like this. I order a clock for my VTX, same great communication from them but the clock never got to me. USPS kept saying they had delivered, I kept saying "I did not receive it". Went back and forth for a few days, contacted Linda and she sent another clock at no charge. 9 days after getting my second clock, the first clock arrives I contacted Linda again and explained what had happened and that I was sending it back. So, mark me as another satisfied customer Excellent customer service

Some do. I've been retired for 14+ years and my brain still needs to know what time it is...........all the time.

I had a clock on the Valk.. I'm not sure where I bought it but the battery wound down after 5 or 6 years. I still have it but don't need it as the Vstrom has its own clock. Evidently Suzuki felt there was a need for old geezers like me (and Doug) to know the time.

After reading this post I ordered a clock and thermometer. The site would not take my Paypal for payment so I called and ordered by telephone. Linda was very nice and spoke with Ross and said they would check their Paypal. Turns out my credit card had expired. I told her I was ordering because of a post on the VRCC and she said she had a few inquiries and orders for Valkyries in the last week or so. Sent nice email about shipping items out within a few minutes. Thanks for info on them.

Don't want a clock on my bikes, but this thread reminds me, I need to take 3-4 watches in for new batteries. I haven't licked my cheapo Timex, but it's the last one ticking.

Saw the post, and also ordered the pair (clock/temp). They came in just 3 days, fastest order I have ever received from an internet company, they are over in MS, I'm in AL. Takes Cruiser Customizing about 21 days to send me an order. Products great, and look fantastic on my Valk. Would recommend these guys, also got a nice thankyou note. CaribouHunter

I just got my clock from Ross and Linda sent up here in Canada and can't say enough nice things about their service and attention to detail ! The handwritten note was a nice touch, and it looks great on the Valk.
