That was fast put my order in on the 12th and arrived yesterday 18th.  50 bucks for 2 of them. I feel bad for posting the 100 dollars ones few months back and watched  them slowly disappear I was just making pun of the listing. What other parts can we get from there and save $$$?

I'm sure the good folks at David Silver are wondering why the sudden flood of orders for that particular part. I'm staying quiet lest MI5 get after me!

Cause I'm nosey I just loked at the UK site again and the part is now on back order and seems to have been for a week or so. Wonder if the inventory is close to depleted?

Good question. When I ordered mine several weeks ago it took longer...about a month.... than those in this thread have experienced. And it would not surprise me if inventory is low....considering the orders that have been placed from this thread alone.

They arrived today coolsmiley I don't understand though how they are getting and selling them so cheap? I ordered one through my dealer last year and it was $52 not to bad I thought then two weeks later decided I wanted another for my IS so I went back and ask parts guy to order another and he said that his Dad the owner of the shop had ask him to order one for him and They had gone up to something stupid like $170 and his cost was like $140. I now have 5 spares, but have a couple local friends with Valks that may need one somewhere down the road cooldude

I know I`m a little late to the game. But I just ordered 3 and they are still cheap ($56 total). They did send me an email saying it would be 4-6 weeks because of heavy demand coolsmiley. So if anybody needs them they are still out there cooldude

Back when I was on the SOHC4 website, David Silver Spares was a site for picking up OEM parts for my '74 CB750K4. They have been in business for a long time, and have a very good reputation. Glad they have adopted the Valk.

Its kind of confusing but click on the U.S. site tab and then the US website. My card wouldn't work on the UK site but worked on the U.S. site. cooldude

Just 5 days ago I rec'd an E-mail from David saying that he was just notified that the part (alternator cover) is NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!  He issued a credit to my mastercard for the two I had ordered a couple of weeks earlier.  I'd sure like to hear from anyone that DOES receive a new OEM cover.
