Weeder, this Board is full of good veterans (and non-veterans) and patriots who do not like where this country is heading or being lead or governed, and have been very vocal about it (almost daily). But really, dragons have nothing to do with it.

I am a Christian. Play guitar in the praise team. Ministered to the Youth for several years, and have taught many a small groups for the Non-Denominational Bible church that I attend. I am doing my part as a Christian to maintain the morals of the Bible, and bring people to know Jesus.
I however inherited my Valkyrie from my father. I have never once worshiped it, and only thought the "Dragon" reference was just that.. a reference.
This post of yours is completely out of left field, and you are doing what Americans do best, which is generalizing. You attacked the entire Valkyrie community then back peddle by stating "we are all good people". Make up your mind! We are either all heretics, or good people.
If you feel so passionately about this sell your heathen machine and do something about the state of America, because making off kilter statements about people you don't know isn't accomplishing much. Then why don't you tell us what 'YOU' are doing to help make society a better place. I think you will then find more support that way.

Well...I am not a christian. I don't believe in god, satan, jesus, angels or any such make believe. Oh ya...don't bother to tell me how sorry you are for me. Weeder, get your head out of your butt and take your proper medication and take off the tin foil hat. Your handle says it all to me. Put down the wacky tobacy and take a cold shower to clear your head and get back to us. There is no evil but what we do and perceive. Sheeesh....some people's kids.

Weeder, I have to agree with Detn8er, your post makes absolutely no sense. And, the way you have of expressing your thoughts, whatever they were, doesn't exactly ingratiate yourself with the rank and file members of the VRCC. And finally, you make reference to "the lower IQ" which happened to be at the end of a rather disjointed, misspelled, and improperly punctuated tirade. The post is closed with "so why would I care?" Better yet might I suggest if that's how you feel.....why bother? ???

Wayne, solo1
Don't give to much credit there Wayne....Anybody can do a quick google search.Copy, paste and poof you appear knowledgeable. As proof I offer this up.....Even I can do it. The birth of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps By 1775, the snake symbol wasn't just being printed in newspapers. It was appearing all over the colonies ... on uniform buttons ... on paper money ... and of course, on banners and flags. The snake symbol morphed quite a bit during its rapid, widespread adoption. It wasn't cut up into pieces anymore. And it was usually shown as an American timber rattlesnake, not a generic serpent. We don't know for certain where, when, or by whom the familiar coiled rattlesnake was first used with the warning "Don't Tread on Me." We do know when it first entered the history books. In the fall of 1775, the British were occupying Boston and the young Continental Army was holed up in Cambridge, woefully short on arms and ammunition. At the Battle of Bunker Hill, Washington's troops had been so low on gunpowder that they were ordered "not to fire until you see the whites of their eyes." In October, a merchant ship called The Black Prince returned to Philadelphia from a voyage to England. On board were private letters to the Second Continental Congress that informed them that the British government was sending two ships to America loaded with arms and gunpowder for the British troops. Congress decided that General Washington needed those arms more than General Howe. A plan was hatched to capture the British cargo ships. They authorized the creation of a Continental Navy, starting with four ships. The frigate that carried the information from England, the Black Prince, was one of the four. It was purchased, converted to a man-of-war, and renamed the Alfred. To accompany the Navy on their first mission, Congress also authorized the mustering of five companies of Marines. The Alfred and its sailors and marines went on to achieve some of the most notable victories of the American Revolution. But that's not the story we're interested in here. What's particularly interesting for us is that some of the Marines that enlisted that month in Philadelphia were carrying drums painted yellow, emblazoned with a fierce rattlesnake, coiled and ready to strike, with thirteen rattles, and sporting the motto "Don't Tread on Me."

I see your point Jess . All are good people on this board is my opinion no doubt about it.
In the fall of 1775, the British were occupying Boston and the young Continental Army was holed up in Cambridge, woefully short on arms and ammunition. At the Battle of Bunker Hill, Washington's troops had been so low on gunpowder that they were ordered "not to fire until you see the whites of their eyes."
In October, a merchant ship called The Black Prince returned to Philadelphia from a voyage to England.
The rattlesnake also has sharp eyes, and "may therefore be esteemed an emblem of vigilance."
"She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. ... she never wounds 'till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her." ...
Here, Weeder, let me cite that for you. It was lifted from http://www.gadsden.info/history.html with the following note, which you ignored: Note: This history of the Gadsden flag was written by me, Chris Whitten, based on extensive personal research. It also appears on FoundingFathers.info. You are welcome to quote from it, reprint excerpts, or even republish the entire thing. However, please give me credit and link to Gadsden.info.

Oh, please, people. If you are 'down on dragons' because of a supposedly 'Christian' perspective, you might want to read Psalms 18:8. I've been a Christian (meaning one who realized he was a dirtbag, lived mainly in a wretched manner, and who saw Jesus' sacrifice as taking my punishment for what I deserved so 'accepted' His gift) for 44 years. You can make ANYthing an idol. That is an individual issue.
Well said, & Amen! Peace, Whiskey.

So everyone who disagrees with you is from the low IQ/low income crowd....really, not sure what IQ your mythical Jesus had but rumor has it he was from the low income crowd and hated no one... apparently his hatred genes skipped through time and landed in your DNA. As for low IQ...not sure how much lower it could than that of a bigot. At least you have nowhere to go but up in humanity and IQ. Hope you do the Valkyrie riders a favor and get rid of your demon bike lest it burst in to flames under your ass when your Jesus gets wind of your use of Christian beliefs to damn others to hell. I hear the moped crowd is up their in the IQ ratings... hey and no demonic symbols to worry about.

From my earlier post... Personally I've always preferred the Maiden symbolism to that of the Dragon with regards to the Valk. I'm starting to have second thoughts...

... why anyone would want to embrace a symbol of dragons and evil entities? , of course if your an atheist God Hating type person - great knock yourself out-- worship the beast .
Uh oh... My jacket: My side covers: My fork deflectors: My Helmet: Oh...and going on my house (the Old Vic) when the roof gets redone next week: Seriously...symbols have no power that we, personally, don't assign to them. None of these have anything to do with evil or atheist god-hating type persons. That's YOUR assignment of power...

What sense does any of this make ? We talk about some weird stuff sometimes and I certainly enjoy talking about weird stuff. But, what sense does this thread make ? It starts out ranting about dragons and ends up with a google post about the Revolution ! AND, we join in ! Its probably pretty cold in Gillette this time of year and there is not much else to do but hang around and smoke, but, even at that, to come up with this ! Oh, that fight didn't happen at Bunker Hill, but, thats OK, its a common mistake made since the time of the battle. Some folks don't know where they are today, well, some didn't back then either. No one could afford a GPS back then.

Josh -children of the corn -kid . Play a guitar in the church rock band? NICE. Ask your pastor if Dragon symbols fit in the Christian lifestyle. But there is no dragon symbol on a stock Valkyrie bike or yours is there? Off kilter? hahaha You know if words don't mean things why did the 150 words this thread started with start this shytestorm? I can back up everything I post ...period. I never brought the word Jesus into any post . why the suggestion in other posts I did? . The 'weeder ' title has nothing to do with dope ok? I keep thinking of the saying ; " If you look away from the charging bear dosent mean you wont be eaten" . When people ask me what Valkyrie means I say It is an angel that came in to slew the evildoers and its a mythical tale. No I don't bring up Dragons . There are no dragons and grimreapers or snakes on my leathers . What would your reaction be if you saw a cross on a bike? I'll tell you ; this is a jesus freak, born again christian saved dude . the cross dosent mean anything either? Yes it does ! And the skull and bones and grim reaper and dragons and death cross mean things to. Sorry ... Ive seen the dark side and its real . And it wants to destroy . PERIOD So I think we can conclude that the riders that do have those symbols is just for fun and interesting and not sending a message . OK...... Lets change the subject or wait , notice the Christians in the early part of this thread all came out to back up my subject? , where are they ? haha gone-- yes gone don't want to argue with the ignorant .
