Went down to my barn this morning to do my chores and found that it had been broke into by somebody and they cleaned house stealing my 2003 Valkyrie along with a bunch of power tools.

Don't know how much good it will do but I thought I would post a photo along with the Vin 1HFSC34623A600944

Check local craigslist for parts. They can't register it anywhere so parting it out is their only option. That really sucks. I feel for ya.

Is that 412 shocks? List some other stuff that might stand out on it, we can look for
someone parting out a Valkyrie on eBay that includes that stuff...

Looks like an inside job.  If they took the Valk... they already had it planned with a big enough vehicle to haul it away.  Meaning, they already knew it was there.
Hope you find it and the perps.

She had a lot of little personal touch extras I put on, the jack thingy under the frame, a wolo air horn, custom handlebar risers, black mirrors, handlebar clock and thermometer, handlebar powerport. 412 shocks, switchblade windshield, Rifle lowers, temp gauge on the dipstick, highway pegs, the stainless radiator grill a tool kit I made up in the round fork bag and also I put chrome top radiator trim and floorboards on since the photo. Only 2800 miles! Cry

My '75 Yamaha XS650 was stolen right from my front door back in the late '70's.  Felt violated.

In the mid '90's, my garage was broken into in the middle of the night.  Bunch of hobby stuff and tools stolen.  Felt way more than violated.

We were home that night.....kids had a sleepover with a bunch of other kids in the house sleeping on the living room floor.  Dog never made a sound.

If I had walked into that garage that night and had seen them, somebody would have died.   Angry

Wow that just sucks.  Will watch for it, but I bet they will just part it out.  Any pictures of the license plate number?

What have the police said?

When was the last time you looked at your bike and said " I wish I was on you"  or when was the last time you actually saw the bike with your eyes?

Stealing motorcycles has been on the increase here. I put a combo lock on my service door last summer for that reason. Garage is locked up tight now to. Never did that before but there are 3 bikes in there and I like them all. My garage or (pole barn) sets roughly 60' from my house so I probably wouldn't hear much if they were quiet. I have locks on all of em and if they do get in at least they will have to work to get them out.

How about a list of the power tools and any model and/or serial numbers?

Time to check out local pawn shops.

Yeah, me too.  I've always said those who don't know won't won't steal it and those who do won't.

Sorry to hear about this , Al.   Sad
