It had dawned on me that I didn't post the Dec. Calendar on the main BBS  angel
I would like to thank Dan (I don't know his screen name) For sending me this photo. coolsmiley
I really liked all the paint on this Valk for winter...
That's why I called it Puff the Magic Dragon..
I had another one made that I had noticed was NOT the right sizes and not fitting properly tickedoff...
So I took them down and re made...WAPITA !!! Evil
I had a bunch to chose from this time ..The colours got me.. cooldude
Maybe Dan will check in and tell us all about this Valk...

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for selecting my new Hotrod Valkyrie for the December calender.  Here's some information on the Valkyrie and a few more pictures.  Bought this Valkyrie in July 2014 from Lee Schoch (6ntunne).  He bought the bike new.  This bike has some interesting features: 6 degree rake, 21" front tire, loud deep Cobra pipes, and nice red LED's through out the engine. The brake and shifter are moved forward with a Heal brake and the shifter is flipped with 1 up and 4 down.  Also has Cycle Smith front Banana boards.  Currently has Beetle Bags.  Want to install the Trunk with the Beetle bags but will have to have some fiber glass work done first to get them to fit so working on to install the stock bags and trunk creating a Super Valk bike that can have the trunk removed quickly to make it a single rider.  With trunk installed it will be easier to convince to Trish to ride this bike.  Hoping to be able to drive this to a Valkyrie ride soon.

Dan & Trish

They are Radiantz Puckz 2.25" - 48 Red LED for brakes lights part number 5138-10 and 24 Red and 24 Amber outer ring for outside turning part number 5139-38.  These really help lighten up a normally darker rear of a Valkyrie Interstate.  I'm planning to change my other Valkyrie over to these.  Trish is always telling me that the bike is too dark from the back.

THANKS TRACY!!!!  I just found this...

Awesome bike.  I am seriously thinking about the leds in the trunk lights.

Dan, do you have any pics of the trunk with the lights on?  Maybe one with the brakes applied?

Thanks!

Hi JimmyT,

No I don't right now.  I've not mounted the trunk on the bike yet in the 6 months I've owned it.  Planning to flip the Beetle bags to the Standard bags and then mount the trunk.  I'll post a few pictures once it is done with the brake lights on.  The 2 LED brake lights on the Beetle bags are bright and a picture of them is below.  Looking forward to seeing the 4 LED lights on the trunk and 2 on each saddle bag.  Should be Very Bright.

Jimmy T,

Here is a photo of the trunk with the hockey pucks installed and brake lights on and a picture of my bike with the trunk installed.

Great looking ride! I have to admit, I’ve been away for a while, but I remember there’s many veterans here, including a good number who were 'in-country.' So, when I saw the “Puff the Magic Dragon” I immediately thought; “oh cool, someone posted a Douglas AC-47 ‘Spooky’ TCBing!” LOL! Seriously, very nice paint job on the bike! Well done!
