Had to go look at some furniture that needed repair. Took the Valkyrie. Stopped at Sam's Club to renew my membership and then I had some time to kill so I went by the local Honda Dealer. I sat on the new Valkyrie and the F6B, they were side by side. I must say for the same price (basically) I sure liked the F6B. The Valkyrie was nice, I liked the feel of it, but for everything the F6B offers for the money it spoke to me. NO, I didn't buy it even though brand new for 17.5 seemed really good. They also said they would install electric cruise control for $300 less 10% discount for buying the bike.
The funny thing was, as I was drooling over the F6B the associates were drooling over my 97 Valkyrie. They asked me as much about my bike as I asked them about theirs.
Then I left for my appointment in San Destin, still got there early so I stopped at one of those poofy coffee shops and got a hot cup of coffee to pass 30 minutes. The beaches weren't very busy but the water sure was pretty.
Not too cold, but cool enough to wear the leather without getting all sweaty.
All in all a good 100 miles or so and I felt bad calling it work.
