Found this video after watching the great video of gun toting restaurant.

This is real good video on motorcycle awareness. I'm going to share with everyone I know.

Good one. Now the hard part - getting cage drivers to watch it.

As a rider I get it completely. Honed my skills racing AND driving 18 wheeler. Sad part of this-the folks that NEED to see this video AND act on what is shown-most likely the bulk of them will NOT see it.  Cry The video IS well down.  cooldude Kudos to Washington state.  coolsmiley And again as always-RIDE SAFE.

That's a well done video. Thanks for posting it, Stan. I agree, the problem is getting the driving populace to see it.

Nicely done, but at 8 plus minutes it will never be a commercial for the masses as stated. Shame......

Very moving and well produced video.  Thanks for posting.  We need these to be shown nationally.

It is a good video and well made but  believe it misidentifies more than one issue.

One is that cage drivers don't fail to see motorcycles because they are smaller than cages or that it's difficult for them to interpret the motorcycle's speed.  They don't see them because they simply aren't looking for them so they don't register.  That's a reason youcan sometimes watch a driver, near you, look almost directly into your eyes and then pull across your front.

It's my personal opinion that the root of the problem is a low level of held-accountable responsibility.  People who kill or seriously injure motorcyclists are given light impact traffic tickets and those often dismissed.  It would be interesting to study the behavior of people in Japan, China, or some other nation in which more motorcycles are on the road.  I wonder how do those countries react when someone's carelessness kills a rider?
