#ShootThePolice': Crazed man's online ranting before executing two NYPD officers, committing suicide

http://www.aol.com/article/...-nypd-cops/21119392/

A gunman shot dead two NYPD officers in Brooklyn before apparently taking his own life, NYPD sources tell AOL News.

Ismaaiyl Brinsley, a 28-year-old black male, posted multiple times to a now-deleted Instagram account that he was getting revenge for the death's of Staten Island man Eric Garner and Missouri teen Michael Brown. One of the posts included his blood spattered pants.

Officials called the double murder an assassination during a Saturday night press conference.

"Our city is in mourning, our hearts are heavy," Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a Saturday evening press conference. "They died serving the city they love."

Brinsley approached officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, 40, from the passenger side of a marked squad car they were sitting in in the Bed Stuy section of Brooklyn at 2:47 p.m., cops said. They were both shot in the head execution-style.

One officer was pronounced dead at the scene, the other died at a nearby hospital, said police. One of the officers was a seven-year veteran of the force, the other a two-year vet, sources said.

"Both officers paid the ultimate price defending the communities they serve," said a shaken NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton, his voice trembling as he spoke.

Liu was married only two months ago. Ramos leaves behind a wife and a 13-year-old son.

The gunman then fled the scene on foot to a nearby subway station with other officers close behind. He was found on the train platform with what police tell AOL News is a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Brinley's firearm, a hand gun, was recovered at the scene, investigators said.

The suspected shooter's posts to Instagram earlier in the day horrified the people who read them.

"I'm putting wings on a pig today. They take 1 of ours..... Let's take 2 of theirs #ShootThePolice #RIPErivGardner [sic] #RIPMikeBrown This may be my final post, I'm putting pigs in a blanket," he wrote in the caption of a handgun.

"Erase this man come on," a follower wrote.

A second post a short time later appears to have been made shortly after he gunned the officers down.

"Never had a hot gun on your waist and blood on your shoe... N***a you ain't [sic] been through what I been through you not like me and I'm not like you #BrooklynGoHard #ConeyIsland."

People reading the post were shocked.

 "Wow," wrote one.

"This f*****g terrorist piece of s**t," wrote another.

A third said: "You're going to be dead soon enough. Enjoy hell dumba**. You just killed yourself defending another lowlife."

The picture with the second post shows blood spattered camouflage pants and shoes matching the ones worn by a man taken from the subway station where police sources say the man was found dead.

A Facebook post earlier in the day from the suspect hinted he planned to take action, but not at the horrors to come.

"I Always Wanted To Be Known For Doing Something Right....... But My Past Is Stalking Me And My Present Is Haunting Me," he wrote.

Authorities say Brinsley also shot a woman in Baltimore believed to be his ex-girlfriend, said Bratton. An all-points bulletin (APB) for Brinsley was faxed to the NYPD only two minutes before he shot both cops dead.

The Rev. Al Sharpton has released a statement condemning the double murder.

"We are outraged by the early reports of the police killed in Brooklyn early today," said Sharpton. "Any use of the names of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, in connection with any violence or killing of police, is reprehensible and against the pursuit of justice in both cases.'

Links to terror groups have been ruled out, but several reports suggest Brinsley was a member of a Baltimore street gang that has made death threats against police.

The police union has mandated all 911 call responses be met with two squad cars and that no law enforcement action be taken unless "absolutely necessary," according to a memo provided to AOL News.

This is the first known case of apparent retaliation for the numerous deaths of unarmed blacks this summer while in the presence of police officers.

The mayor is an ultra liberal ass.
The last NYC officer assassination was in 1988.
Have you seen the photo of that gang member POS ?
Ex mayor Giuliani was the best mayor that city has had in decades and cleaned up that town. He also did more to save lives and make it safer than anyone. Stop and Frisk works.
The nit-wit in charge now is clueless. This country now has a history of putting nit-wits in offices of authority, I'm thinking about 2.
Remember the NYC protests. What were they chanting !  Giuliani would have never allowed that.

Blasio or whatever they call him, is a pure stupid liberal pol.

Sharpton ,that phony reverend and POS, did his part to bring this about.  Put this all together with a president, who complained about police before he knew the facts (beginning of his term, beer fest, blah, blah) and an Attorney general who also pissed on the police and it's no wonder.

It sure would be nice if Sharpton, and his fellow followers, would need the police sometime, maybe they could help out.

This crap is serious.

This state is full of anti-gun liberals, but, we still have guns.
There isn't much of a problem having long guns, except for nit-wit governor cuomo's  midnight banning of certain magazines and a few other ridiculous things as an over reaction to Newtown.
Hand gun ownership requires a permit. There is difference between upstate and downstate permits. As restrictive as upstate permits are, downstate is more. However with more liberal judges being elected, its getting increasingly harder to get an upstate permit.

Sorry guys for changing the tone of this thread.

I'm sorry to hear of this. 2 LEO's (add anyone else here, soldier, firefighter, etc.) who are out working for the public good, taken from life.

My prayers go out to all those who are affected by the actions of someone, who sounds very much like he wasn't all there in the first place.

On a different line. I asked a friend of mine how gun control was in the old Soviet Block, no one had a gun right? He said, since there was a gun standing on almost every street, it was very easy to get a fully automatic weapon whenever you wanted one.

That 28 yr old POS black gang member had a long history of arrests [ 20+], 2 years in prison and has been suicidal for some time.
So naturally he feels the need to assassinate hispanic and asian police officers then fulfill his long time wish of suicide.
The NYC mayor probably can not be held responsible for those assassinations, but, he certainly is partly responsible for continuing the recent racial problems.

So after protesting the garnd jury decision in Ferguson this plonker stated

"I don't know the guy, I don't know the perp," with reference to the slaughter of the 2 NY cops.

Is he saying he knew the cop Wilson and Michael Brown? Idiot.

During the gubernatorial race, Cuomo came right out of the gate calling his opponent a racist and other key names that ring the liberal bell and they fell for it.  Even though numerous shortcomings and a corruption investigation hung over Cuomo's head.

During this past mayoral election, the opposition didn't have anyone who could overcome the sickness that is NYC politics.

Today, the mayor gave a press conference and blamed the media for participating in causing the strife that's going on now in nYC and around the country.

I really don't like this guy.  He ran on a platform that NYC was the tale of 2 cities.  One where the wealthy republicans had everything and one where the rest of the poor folk live in squaller.  Then at his inauguration, he sat smiling as NYC was called the big plantation, and more divisive rhetoric was spouted.  He was the one who voiced his nonsense about worrying that the NYPD might beat his son up.  He's the one that immediately fired the Police Commissioner who had this city on cruise control for 12 years.  He's the one that give audiences to Sharpton.

And now, now he wants to blame the press, who is so on his liberal side, for actually reporting the things he says and does?

He's the one who told cops to back off protestors, allowing them to cause destruction, inconvenience other citizens, and got two cops attacked by a group of protestors.  He's the one who ultimately told the public that his police force was no good, giving credibility to the race hustlers across the country.

A big "F U" to you de Blasio (or Warren Wilhelm, Jr, which is his real name).  BTW, how come Democrats can have aliases or assume new identities (Barry Sotero)?

Gary, I think the beauty of his party's plan is that even
if people asked for a recall its his handpicked heir who takes over (deputy mayor)
under the NYC Constitution

Perhaps the better solution is to make the 2nd place finisher the deputy mayor so another voice is always heard

The animal who killed the 2 officers after shooting his girlfriend  came from Maryland.

If DeBlasio did his job, he would not have been in NYC  He made an attractive nuisance of the city
by encouraging brainless protests and alienating anyone who actually works for a living

IMHO the Mayor is one piece of work

I will repeat myself. Had the guy in Ferguson and the guy in N Y C LISTENED and complied with the L E Os instructions I believe both of them would still be alive. And from what I read about the Milwaukee Wi. incident-same thing. LISTEN and COMPLY with what the L E O is saying. Even when I was in my prime the L E Os could/would/will outnumber you quickly. Even if they felt they had been profiled they could have retained a lawyer after they were released. the rallying cry is still-hands up don't shoot.

Of course it is.  Just another act in the play of:   poor me, I'm a victim, I am not responsible for my self or my actions, or anyone else, you owe me, the G owes me, God owes me, I'm just a poor downtrodden soul, it's not my fault, it's society's fault (or the policeman's fault). And the entire social entitlement business of the left wing agenda is the principle enabler, legitimizer and perpetuator of this attitude and lifestyle.
