Tea from the tree

Has anyone ever had pine needle tea, if so how does it taste.  Also what pine can be used and which one is the best. I am sure it may be an acquired taste. I imagine I would not use pines for the neighborhood due to the fact people spray pesticides on their plants and grass. Plants absorb theses chemicals, correct.
