I was stationed in Japan in late 1966 and most of 67 and a small part of 68. A friend of mine took delivery of the then new 238 Kawasaki moto cross bike. The most fun I had was at the moto cross meets and interacting with the Japanese Nationals. My limited Japanese and most of them with limited English-we were able to understand each other BECAUSE of the common thread-motorcycles!  coolsmiley And it seems like after the meets near Mt. Fuji that it got VERY drunk out more often than not.  Lips Sealed I KNEW going in that I would NEVER take a checkered flag in what ever class I raced in because of the weight difference BUT I had so cursed much fun racing and meeting people.  cooldude And in the pits thrashing to make the next moto I had people loaning me parts and I loaned tools and help-not unlike the pits at an American drag racing event. Thanks fer the skip down memory lane!  2funny RIDE SAFE.

Nope, I was 6 by then... my mama had a thyroid operation and went from

A '64 V8 rag top !  Sure would like to have one today.
I'm working on a '64 V8 coupe for a friend right now. I like the subtle differences in the '64s. The first Mustang we sold was a white '64 V8 ragtop to a neighbor. I wanted to buy that car when he traded it back in, should have and kept it.
