Had symptoms a couple months ago and serviced my starter button. Was operating fine so life was good again. Week ago went for a ride and had to pop start it to get home. Clicking. Thought I had the battery checked before doing the starter button and was told it was good, but decided to check again. Has good voltage but shows replace. Must be a bad cell or something. All I know is a new battery and she starts with no hesitation and I'm looking forward to a ride soon now. I got the "best" battery, but didn't cough up enough for Mikey's fancy Lithium one.  cooldude

I grew up in Levittown, near Philly. Brother has been working McCafferty Ford since High School in early 80's and is still there as a Master Tech.  Where you work?
