Thanks Scott for putting this page together!

If you are planning to come to the GOTF, Please sign up so I can have a head count.  This is the only location I will use to know how many I need to cook for....  emails and pm's are nice, but a pain to go through to find if you are coming, or just saying you can not make it....
  Can't wait!!!!!!

Hey HotGlue...

Are April 4th & 5th dates correct?  April 5th is Easter Sunday.  You may loose a few possible attendees to family gatherings.

Just making sure I'm not reading something wrong.

Signed my brother up.  He lost his wife in January and trying to get his mind past it.  He owns a '72 Honda 750 Four.  If he doesn't cancel on me, we will likely be in my Z3 since he hasn't ridden long distance.  Hate to be the only attendee from Arkansas again.

Biker Girl and I are looking forward to our first Gathering.  Will REALLY be ready for a road trip after this crazy cold NC weather we're having.tickedoff

Just to do it we'll be heading to Nashville and then down the Trace.  Any ideas on a good stop for the night somwhere halfway down the Trace would be appreciated.

PM or email so we don't derail the thread. Smiley

(And, thanks to all who responded about biker-friendly hotels in New Orleans for the trip home)

I am so bummed out right now, Sad Sad I thought my life was gonna take a turn for the BETTER and I would get to become a Texas resident by the time of GOTF. But as Sad sack old man Murphy that has his own set of laws and rules. No Texas sunshine for me as of yet. I really want to do this gathering sometime but there is no way I can get the time off to make the ride from out here in Kaliforniastan and back and especially not with the wife in tow. My lifestyle is so friggen stressful and it shouldn't be, I know I am on the road to heart attack or stroke  Cry and I need so badly to live in a lower stress lifestyle that I know we could build if we moved to Texas and lived near my Sisters and their families. Wife won't give up her current job and we live only 4 streets away from her mom....

Hope ya all have a GRAND time, and someone tip and extra cold one for me.... and maybe a couple extra bites of that great BBQ  cooldude cooldude

Matt there are folks that are flying in to this gathering every year. It would be nice to ride but you gotta due what you gotta due to get there. No one will judge you for flying in. Last year we went in my wife's minivan because of the weather. Had just as good of time as getting there on the bike. I doubt that there is a better back yard BBQ in the world. These folks know how to put it on! Buy a weekend plane ticket and come be a FOOL!  cooldude
