that is what worries me the most when loading anyting up with my atv ramps on the back of my pickup bed.  Sliding the ramps off the edge of the tailgate and kicking them back out scares me the most with or without bungee cords strapped to the bumper area. 

How hard would it have been to have 2 of the 20 guys standing around on the lower section of those boards put their feet and stand on the ends of the boards, most likely would have prevented the above from happening.

I'm no Rocket Scientist but the way I saw it, without being nailed together, the second board was also worthless. The bike was aimed right between the two boards. Even if it hadn't slipped off the dock, it would have fallen through the crack, so to speak.

Riding up ramps is scary even with good ramps.  Coming down is almost as bad.
