2 cents worth of my opinion

I hate that gap between tank and engine.

Always looks like there's something missing.

Im not using to seat, it is now sitting on a brothers 65 pan, my wife asked me why the tails and told her because they're freakin sexy and as far as the tank I might go a little bigger but not to much. I still have electical to run( chopper wiring it) less is better, almost done with the brakes and foot clutch and to button up a few small odds and ends.

A Honda Fury tank may be a nice looking option for you.

Are you thinkin Captain America here or just heading in the general direction? Like the progress pics!  cooldude Probably WON'T fit with your design BUT I'm gonna throw it out there anywho-small beer keg for the gas tank. And one other thought-haven't seen a coffin tank in a long time. O K-I'm done!  2funny RIDE SAFE.

Thats great.....Keep going it takes time and that other stuff. I resurected a 96 Springer Softail last winter. Turned out great but what a project to fix someone elses stupidity. He had cut all the wiring at the handle bars so he could put new steering bearings in. Never got done and he had little or no ambition to finish. Bought it for nothing. Good thing I had the project cause winter sure stunk. Just finishing my Electra Glide this month so that has helped pass the winter as well. The Valk just sets there all pretty.

Shovels were the last Harley I really liked.  Every once in a while I search ebay or Craigslist for a good deal on one.  Never had any luck.

Glad someone did though.
