I really shouldn't laugh at someone getting beat up, but... the irony of this one is almost too much... Sure hope he learned his lesson about the ability to "coexist" with certain ways of thinking...

When I see one of the "Coexist" bumper sticker the thought that crosses my mind is that the owner knows very little of the religious cultures to which he refers.   Smiley

The owner doesn't have to know anything about the religions, all he/she knows is that putting the sticker on the car made them feel good.

I was not there in ancient times but one reason I was given as a child for antisemites to exist
is that a people who continue to speak (privately not in commerce) a separate language, observe holidays and customs and observe rules regarding eating are easily identifiable and thus easy for a ruler or a person who wants to rule to blame for any real or perceived ill whether economic or otherwise.

It goes back to Amelek during Exodus, continues with Hamen in the ancient story of Purim
( Jews given carte blanche to kill those who have ordered them killed after King realizes his wife is jewish and he has been tricked into giving an order to kill them all)

In olden times around passover blood libels would be passed by the church in which jewish people would be accused of killing children to drink their blood on passover and of course the old standby Jews killed Jesus, himself a Jew  ( I am not saying a person cant believe he is the son of God here, just that he was also a Jew)   I have friends who were taught this so it is still part of theology in some branches of the churches here.  This Pope is moving away from that as did the last Pope.

The inquisition/ the middle ages were not good times  Jews were expelled from Spain and I think also England and Portugal at the request of the church which confiscated the lands and money

Around the time of Maimonedes it was possible for Jews to coexist with Moslems, but that passed as the crusades one after another laid waste to the mediteranean region and much of europe as well

I loved what this woman has to say in response
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry3NzkAOo3s

Its about how "most people are peaceful" is a bullshit head in the sand response

ChrisJ and myself agree on this particular issue, we have been at war, we are under attack

I feel sorry for a million Jews and Christians in Ukraine who had to leave their homes and the Jews under seige in France, a country ever unable to find its ass with both hands

An armed populace is able to defend itself is a clear lesson lost on most of the world. However unlike the USA, other countries are divided amongst themselves and have no inclination to act against the threat of islamization of their country.

There is no JDL in France, or anywhere these days  a pity

I am also sad for millions of christians and jews butchered in the mideast over the last 4 decades while the world  sits back and does nothing.

We need a President with the balls *that would exclude Hillary and the POTUS in office now* to protect our security and call the jihad for what it is, an attack on any thing not Shahira and not the brand of Islam of the day

But I would not expect a man who says he will stand with Moslems to defend Jews or Christians
and cant figure out those who refuse to acknowledge Potus' words and deeds for what they are
In my humble  opinion, the Potus is a pos.  Hoser

I'm sure if it was me I would move also. But it is a shame because I imagine that's what the haters desire.
I think the haters want to kill them.  I'm on the Jewish side, and wish I was young enough to help them when the war comes, and it will come. I hope our government will support them, but I am not at all certain that it will.   Hoser  Sad

I don't understand antisemitism especially when it is exhibited by people who call themselves Christians.

I don't understand those "silly" co-exist stickers either, I do like this explanation though:
