This happened just a few miles from my house. The meth heads are bad in this area as they probably are everywhere. In the comments section under the article, the comment from "bowman" is mine.

A friend of mine had some business cards printed that he hands out to business that have a no firearms policy.  It simply states, " While I appreciate your right to not allow me to protect myself in your place of business, I'm glad that you also appreciate my right to do my business elsewhere."

I told some pocked faced kid that I expected him to jump infront in case of altercation.
He wondered why, and I pointed to the "Good guy gun free zone" sticker.
He didnt get it. I didnt show him the police six. Never goin back.

Not ONLY am I residing in the "Buckle of the Bible belt" according to my ex B I L I'm also residing in the armpit of the meth capital. I'm friendly with a couple of Mo. Highway Patrol Officers and my local Chief of Police. The meth problem is Entirely too close to my Lacasa according to my L E O friends. And I've noticed in our weekly rag that there are more drug busts here bouts lately. Makes one wonder HOW BAD would that have gone had he NOT been apprehended after the run in with the C C W gentleman? Happy/glad I reside in a C C W state that also allows open carry. And I'm guessing the drug problem is running rampant in most if not all sates. RIDE SAFE.

I found one of em parked on a scooter between my old truck and my barn a few years ago apparently looking for stuff to steal. I was unarmed using the push mower on my pond banks when I saw him pull in and not pull  back out. I startled him and got his name out of him, tried to portray the confidence of an armed man in-spite of being unarmed and got him the hell off the property. He looked like he had just gotten out of prison because he had just gotten out of prison. I pack a gun when I mow grass now. A couple years ago, close by again a young couple answered a late night knock at the door. And got the heck beaten out of them and all their stuff stolen. Again by meth heads.

The meth heads are the zombie apocalypse.
