Can't do the ride 2moro SO I rode today. We are sposed to get cold this afternoon and evening and we're sposed to receive anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of the nasty white chit. So my B/D ride today of 109 miles will have to do cause I ain't putting chains or studded tires on da Phatt Ghurl.  Roll Eyes So I rode at 69 years and 364 days. DO NOT know WHEN i'll get out again as this crapola is lookin like it will be here for the better part of a week!  crazy2 Going out later to see American Sniper and feed myself.  cooldude I ain't fer sure and fer certain BUT I'm thinkin SOME of my Northern Bros have sent me this "winter reminder"!  2funny As a side note to my Northern Bros-you don'ts gots ta remind me no mo!  Grin RIDE SAFE.

Happy birthday, Dennis.  You may notice I included the recognition of your birthday on the VRCC wall calendar, but In obviously mislabeled it.    Smiley

Well Dennis, my "younger" old friend, glad you're having another one. Here's to many more years in the wind. By the way, the guest bedroom is still empty.  Wink

As for labeling the calendar, I see Carl also missed placing mine in there for April 2. I swear, good help is hard to find, guess we'll have to cut back on his VRCC salary for the oversight. I'll be looking at 77 when it rolls around, so very thankful to be here.

Happy belated birthday Dennis!  So glad that you got some riding in close to that all important date cooldude

I'm hoping that I'll have a decent riding day in April to celebrate my 87th.  I'm also hoping that this prednisone shot in my knee will last until I do. Smiley

Been sittin here and ruminating on 70!  Lips Sealed Damn-NEVER thought I'd see this day much less any others!  Undecided MY Country called in 1964 and I Answered that call. ONLY mistake I made was not stickin around for 30. Not always but once in awhile I wake up smelling and hearing the flight deck. And I recall the severe butt tightening that comes with your Airplane being shot at by the enemy. NOT a really good feeling BUT I'm still here!  cooldude Near misses thru out life-on and off the race track. Went and saw American Sniper last night and COULD NOT believe how cursed emotional I got.  crazy2 Well now-FINALLY-I KNOW what 70 looks like-it was in da mirror when I got up this mornin.  2funny Tonight I fixed myself a Beautiful rib eye steak some raw white mushrooms and a nice garden salad washed down with a chilled Pinot Grigio. Lookin forward to what life in general has in store for me as I start another milestone decade. To all my friends here on the V R C C-you have NO idea how much I love and cherish each and every one of ya'll. When I say-My Brothers and Sisters here on the board-I MEAN it-Bros and Sis's.  cooldude Thanks. RIDE SAFE.

Happy birthday, Dennis.  Just glad mine is in July, when I can ride on it.  I see a lot of us are about the same age.
