Some just don't get it, and, maybe never will.

I think you should change the headline "Socialism proceeds to its logical conclusion" Collateral damage is

not important as long as mediocrity is kept up. Sounds like he treats his workers fair offers a good

product and supports his community while making money. Just what socialism doesn't want a success

story in capitalism. Socialism is the ignorance to the human condition that we are all selfish and self

motivated and tries to construct a society that ignores this.

Socialism's conclusion is communism.

And there are still those that are in favor of socialism's conclusion. Just can't figure some people out.

Socialism's conclusion is communism.

The principle difference between them is strong-arm use of force and terror over the people.

Funny, some people just don't like socialism and don't go along willingly.  Thus the force and terror.

Totalitarian rule is the quick way to hope and change.  Ask Stalin, Mao, and Hitler, among others.

What we're getting for the most part is the slow and steady version, with a large assist by schools and universities, brainwashed children, cool aid dreamers, an adoring main stream media, and 50% of the populace who don't really have any real political belief beyond their own selfish self interest in free government money and benefits, and special interests like LGBT crowd who are offended by the Judeo-Christian philosophy that their lifestyle is sin followed by damnation, and unions, and global warming nuts, and safety fanatics, and an ever expanding and purely self interested EMPIRE of government.

The US Const, is a problem for them, but with the right appointment of enough judges and attorney generals, and by slowly filling career government apparatchik positions with cool aid dreamers from top to bottom, all things are possible.  And as the screws are turned ever tighter, so the police state grows in size and strength.

When you get right down to it, it all comes down to power/control and money.  The socialists want it all.  They are the domestic enemies I took an oath to resist.  And should be resisted with all means available.

Unfortunately, I believe we are all the frogs in the slowly heated pot of water.

Jess for POTUS.

Don't threaten me with a good time.   Grin

First thing I'd do is put in a rifle range on the back WH lawn.  Up at 6 am with 100 rounds out of the Garand to set the tone for the day.  (or whenever meeting with the D caucus)  Hey senator Feinstein, just hold that target up over your head. Atta girl.

My other vacations would be ride alongs in gun ships going after murdering lunatics.  OK sergeant, but next time I get the minigun.

The States are talking about convening a Constitutional convention, principally to get a balanced budget amendment.  Great idea.

I think the only way to save the country is to make everyone on public assistance voluntarily agree to give up their vote to get the assistance (including all family members benefiting from any assistance) (no agreement, no assistance).  Fat chance.

I don't often jump into the frey and I'm admittedly quite conservative. But today I'll put a target on my back because I've witnessed social/government logic like this and I like what I saw. I visited South Korea and was given quite a tour of the country. What I saw was very low unemployment and a vibrant economy. That said I was told that large businesses (don't know the $$ threshold) are not allowed to be open seven days a week. Small business - no problem. The logic is that large business gains an advantage of scale that's simply not possible on a small scale. If left unchecked then large business stifles small business start-ups and competitiveness. They have found that simply closing them one day a week is enough of a competitive advantage to keep the small business incubator energetic.

There were other "social engineering" techniques as well. For instance they don't have large street sweeping machines but instead to hire people with cart and broom to do the job. No these aren't great paying jobs but they do keep people employed and I watched these folks do things that the large machines can't do. They would sometimes whack a sidewalk tree to knock the fall leaves off and then sweep them up. Or just step up from the curb and onto the sidewalk and tidy up there. Most of these workers were older workers that may no be able to do much else but they were working.

Anyway, I don't know anything about French laws but this sounds like a small business that became very successful, and large, and is being reigned in by such thinking.
