Check out this video. He's the best I've ever seen, for what that's worth.

Some pretty good trick shooting.    Not sure shooting is the correct word but, I don't know squat about archery.

I've got a nephew that is damn good though.    I knew he hunted with a bow all the time and was always practicing so, I asked him just how good he was.    He proceeded to tell me about some of the competitions he had won.    Was pretty impressive but, I wanted to witness this proficiency so, he got his archery stuff and headed out to my back yard.   I put a dollar bill a little over 200 feet away and he proceeded to put five consecutive arrows through President Washington's portrait, not one arrow was outside the circle.     He didn't have to brag, he could back up everything he said he could do.    cooldude

I'd be lucky to keep the arrows in the yard.    Roll Eyes

Wow...it sounds like your nephew is a pretty good shot in his own right. That's good to know that when he takes a deer the shot is just as deadly as if from a rifle. I'm with you on my archery talents. I have none. Smiley

That guy is amazing. The really amazing part was when he used hunting arrows.

A broadhead ready to hunt is always more than sharp enough to shave with. I've read of several bow hunters over the years who cut themselves with a broadhead and bled to death before they got out of the woods. If your broadhead doesn't scare you just a little when you pull it out of the quiver it's not sharp enough to hunt with.

When I took my youngest son for his "hunter safety course" the instructor said he was putting his hunting arrows together before season during a previous year and noticed his floor felt slick. When he looked down he realized he was tracking his blood back and forth. Evidently he had unknowingly bumped a broadhead on his lower leg. He needed several stitches.

I shot a buck through the chest one year, he ran about 8'. Looked around wondering what happened and continued to feed until he dropped over dead. You know your broadheads are sharp when that happens.
