They were a lot more impressive when the new Valkyries weren't in production.  Now you can get basically the same bike except cosmetically for a far better deal. They do look nice though. 

I almost bought one in 2005 but I not bring myself you even haggle with the dealer when the sticker price back then was $23000.  I ended up buying a VTX1800 out the door for $12000 instead. 

What's a Rune even worth now?

This is one strange beast,,,the one that almost became a ICON.

But was later discontinued because it was just too damn pretty.
