Just riceived my copy of "Sit stay ride". The story of America's sidecar dogs.   Its gotta be in my top five motorcycle movies.  Number one being " On any Sunday ".   Not that it's a masterpiece, but I liked " Running Cool", because it was shot mostly where I live, and I  got to ride my iron head Sportster through the theater, down the isle to in front of the screen, then out a side door before  its premier showing in Inverness Florida.

For Christmas my wife got me the DVD, "Why we Ride". It's a worthy sucessor to "On any Sunday 1 & 2".
Motorcycle DVD's are TV Therapy for us with this winters Cabin Fever.

The Discovery channel, years ago, made a movie called  The Lazy Mans Zen.   It is/was THE BEST  motorcycle documentary since,  On Any Sunday.  I recorded it back on the day, and it has since disappeared.  If anyone out there has it on tape (way before dvd) I would  really really really like to have a copy.   Does anyone remember seeing it?

Don't really need a sidecar but I know exactly what they mean when they said he gets upset on the weekend if I fire up the motorcycle and he doesnt come along.

Thanks!  The trailer brought a smile to my wife's face.  Smiley

I remember the first time I rode Deals Gap - Winghot took me through it and we split at the end - he went back to his house and I was continuing on towards Inzane V.  Well on the way towards Knoxville, there was a bike coming the other way and when I looked, there were two dogs in the sidecar with goggles on - ears blowing in the breeze - sure put a big grin on me! I heard about sit stay ride on the radio. One of the producers was being interviewed.  The guy who talked about the bomb dog handler.  He and his dog were so good at finding ied's that the Taliban had a reward for his death.   Anyone who is a dog owner or a motorcyclist will enjoy this film.
