Here's a link of a Valk engine transplanted into an 8N Ford along with the interesting story of how it came to be.
http://marvinbaumann.com/valkyrie.htmlI'm talking up an Valk Airboat project for our next cousin's adventure at the farm shop. We built one a long time ago using a 289 Ford & failed to notice the thing about it needing a reduction gear.
I'm already dreaming about a three-blade, high pitch prop, & the five speed tranny - don't need all five, but two or three would be nice.
The Valk engine would be really great for a small grossly overpowered boat probably jet propelled. There's no torque to be countered, lightweight ...
Valk engine would be really great for a gyrocopter, although they scare me.
Finally, my last & best idea; you could build the hottest cart on the face of the earth. Just dream about it.
