Could have been front end damage... but I could think of many other ways to fix it. Grin

Can-Am with the Spyder and Polaris with the Slingshot had to put a lot of engineering effort into their electronic stability systems to make them handle safely at the limits of traction.  The right (or wrong, depending on how you look at it) combination of forces and inputs would cause them to very quickly spin out otherwise.  If I were riding that thing I would be careful not to explore the limits.

It's ugly and probably scary to ride because of stability issues.  Also, I do not like the steering linkage at all!

However, if I had a fat girl that had encountered a front end crash so bad as to have destroyed all the front including the gauges and bent the frame,......and I just happened to also have a VW front end lying around, .... and I had a lot of time on my hands with nothing else to do, ... well maybe.

Naw, I would just part her out and buy a good one.

There is something strange going on here. The same listing is in the Little Rock Craig's list and states that it is located in Cabot, Arkansas, a suburb of Little Rock. The CL listing beginning this thread shows it to be located in So. CA.

In fact, I've been thinking of riding out there & looking at it if the weather ever clears. - To Cabot AR, that is.

Notice how the steering is set up. Bell crank, handle bar to drag link / tie rod, but rack & pinion sector still hooked up apparently with pinion still engaged in rack. Must be a a stabilizer - sure needs one.

I'd be scared to take it past 30 mph.

Can't stand the look of the radiator.

Wish I knew the story behind the double front axle of the other one pictured above. Bet it doesn't push in corners like a regular trike but I also have a hard time imagining it hanging out the rear either.

Tyrell fielded an Indy Car configured like that about 20 years ago. - went thru tires like popcorn.

See Jackie Stewert testing it:

I like it. With some tweaking it would look better than other I've seen. VW front ends are pretty stout. 12 G 's a lil steep.

I would guess that it was wrecked and this was the result that was built to keep riding it.  Owner may be unable to ride two wheels also.  There is a member here that builds reverse trikes professionally, they are a lot more attractive, but it's the same approach as that one.  He has done several using different bikes as well as Valkyries.

Thank you Hoser  cooldude

My 2nd prototype was a 1999 Interstate which was rebuilt last summer using a new frame design. My first production unit was built last summer for the 2015 SEMA show and right after the show I did a 2007 Victory King Pin which will be for sale soon. ( I like this Victory and need to drive this one a bit first)
All my latest builds contain the "secret sauce" which allows them to out corner and out handle the stock bikes. I am currently rebuilding my own GL1800 using the new approach and have several bikes queued up for customer builds.

The Valkyrie is and has been my favorite, It's awesome on those scenic gravel roads and has turned every ride into an adventure. Plus it out handles anything I have ever owned.

Reference the Valkyrie in the OP.    That line from the movie Jurassic Park comes to mind.   Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.     But, that isn't my decision to make.     It is, what it is.    I wouldn't make room for it in my shop even for half the asking price.  She's destined to be parted out IMHO.
