Aren't you ignorant voters feeling all warm and fuzzy about now.

Do you believe the liar in chief is interested in the financial security of the middle class when he has done virtually NOTHING to help.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest confirmed Monday that President Obama is "very interested" in the idea of raising taxes through unitlateral executive action.

"The president certainly has not indicated any reticence in using his executive authority to try and advance an agenda that benefits middle class Americans."

How do tax increases help the WORKING population of the USA?

Please discuss.

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/conncarroll/2015/03/02/obama-very-interested-in-raising-taxes-through-executive-action-n1964629#!

Remember the last guy who wanted to raise taxes illegally? You know that King guy from across the pond. What happened to him?

The willingly ignorant will sit back, nod wisely and wait to see the "millionaires and billionaires" get what they deserve. Ignorance of economics shows itself so quickly it's laughable.

And then they'll blame those evil racist Republicans for trying to stop him.

Taxes have already been raised through O care. Remember the Supreme court established it as a tax. Next year the penalty will be 2000.00 dollars to those who cannot afford it. Those who have no income cannot get subsidized health care, those who make more than a certain amount cannot get subsidies. So how is this not a tax aimed specifically at the middle class. Premiums have gone up 100 percent in the last 4 years. Also remember when O first came into office one of the first things he did was raise the credit card rates for everyone. More money out of the middle class pocket. The list goes on and on also. Ive also heard that the penalty will be for married couples who one spouse has health insurance the other does not. So those who cant afford it and may have it through their jobs now will have a harder time making it.

I'm a registered Republican I'm sorry to say.  Now they have control of both Houses and still do nothing to stop this POTUS.

The Dems and the other arsehole, Reid, invoked the "Nuclear' option just for getting liberals appointed to Federal judgeships (Sp) so why don't the Repubs do the same for the Pipeline and Immigration.? Maybe take a really BIG step and stop the Unaffordable Health Care  Act.

Maybe there is something that i don't understand here. It seems to me that the Republicans should grow a set.

It seem decorum has gone out the window so why not use every option available. I agree.

Less than three years after President Franklin D. Roosevelt enacted the New Deal, the sweeping economic programs designed to help the United States recover from the Great Depression, the Supreme Court began overturning key aspects of Roosevelt's legislation.

"When the first New Deal case reached the Supreme Court in January 1935, the court struck down a key piece of the National Recovery Administration, the centerpiece of [Roosevelt's] plans to get the country out of the Depression," explains historian Jeff Shesol, whose new book explores tensions between FDR and the high court. "And from that point on, for the next year and a half, the court essentially struck down all of the central pillars of the New Deal. ... By the end of the term that ended in 1936, one columnist said that it reminded him of a Shakespeare tragedy: At the end of the play, the stage is strewn with dead bodies. Those dead bodies were the New Deal programs."

Sounds familiar doesnt it except at that time the Judges were conservatives. The Courts have long been the way to rule the US and have changed this nation in ways not wanted. It is a replay on history that the most liberal of presidents have appointed the most judges and that's how the disposition of our nation was changed.

What will happen is that people will be forced on to a plan, but then never use it because they won't be able to afford the deductibles.  When "they" say that health care costs are going down, this is generally what is happening.  Deductibles used to be $100 - $250, now they're $12,000???  And, 4 years ago, when components of the plan were set in motion, they decreased reimbursements to providers by 20%.  Could you or your business take a 20% cut and still provide the same quality of product and service?  So people are/will be paying more for less.

I recently heard a guy on the radio talking about filing his income tax and got hit with an enormous bill for not having health care for eight months in 2014. He said the penalty wasn't just a single $97, but $97 for each month you weren't covered. He happened to be unemployed during that time and was only able to keep food on the table and roof over his head. If true, why did the Dumbocrats hide that aspect of the bill? To someone like Peeloosely or Reid, that $776 penalty is nothing. But to a guy on a new job after being unemployed, it's devastating.

I have no idea if that charge is true or not, I'm simply relating what I heard. If in doubt, check it out....I have other things(people) to take care of.

I know a guy who is just making the bills was expecting a tax return check they took 600.00 from his return. If he could afford health insurance he would have it, cant even afford extras how is this fair.
