I'm guilty here as some others are. I rant on this forum about deception central bypassing THE Constitution of THE United States of America. Those sonsabitches work for US. NOT the other way round. And with sonsabitches I'm staying as polite as I can. They vote themselves raises and give themselves trips and other perks I KNOW I/WE did NOT authorize cause we were NEVER asked to vote on it. THEY seem to think/believe/act like THEY are the only ones that matter. THEY continue to give money to countries and folks whose sole purpose on Earth is to take us-The U S of A-out. THAT money B T W is OUR tax dollars. Why in the hell is this funding ALLOWED to continue? WHY does deception central want to disarm us-United States Citizens-and make us weak? I'm pretty sure a LOT of us KNOW the answers here. How does one get rid of a cancer? What happens to bad employees? THEY vote themselves life time health care and wonderful retirement packages. THEY NEVER asked me if it was alright to do this with MY money!  Did THEY ask anybody here if any of this stuff THEY voted themselves was alright with the rest of us? Anybody here KNOW HOW to get a recall started? Has the slope THEY created gotten too slippery? Can the U S of A be brought back to greatness? I'd like to BELIEVE it can but NOT with the current crop of shyster sonsabitches currently in power nor those warming up in the bullpen. I for one FEAR for the very fabric of OUR COUNTRY. Where are our modern day George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.? Somehow I've turned this into a rant when I DID NOT want it to be that!  RIDE SAFE.

This seems to be something that has been lost or forgotten over the years. We seem to elect these people for life, once in they do as THEY please and don't seem to care what their constituents want. We keep re-electing them. After all, everyone hates politicians, except their's.

I am going to answer that quote with the same answer I gave in Solo's post

We need two things that will change what is happening to our country, and we will never see either.

1) TERM LIMITS
We will not see them because the politicians are so intertwined with the lobbyists that they are one entity. (and that goes for both parties) Term limits would enable our elected positions to be what they were intended to be, real people serving the voters, not their party, or special interest groups, and they would not be in office long enough to be bought. (at least in a perfect world)

2) FAIR or FLAT TAX
When everyone, including corporations are paying equally, we should begin to level the playing field, but it will never happen in our lifetimes, if ever, because we have voted in our ruling class, and enabled the filthy rich to dictate and determine what the laws will be, and who will be effected.
