Has anyone found a white wall front in 150-80-17? I've found a couple in 140-80-17 but thought I'd ask the brain trust BEFORE I pull the trigger on the 140. As always-T I A for any and all help and considerations. RIDE SAFE.

Hey Dennis,
Send a PM to Jim C, here in WI... He's got WW's on his ride.
Think he said they were for HD.

140/80/17 is the closest I ever found. You are not talking about much difference between them, nobody will notice it unless you mention it first.

Ah Ha! White wall guys, what about Portawalls? I've considered these for years but haven't sprung for them. Anyone? http://www.portawallshop.com/?refreshedA perfectly awful video but it shows the installation.

Had those portawalls on a 59 Desoto I owned eons ago. And at $85 for four and change runs inexpensive tires WAY up there. BUT as always-I do APPRECIATE all the help and suggestions. AND with those portawalls I had some light chafing where the sidewall and the tire interacted together. I WOULD like to ride next to some one that has them on a front wheel and see what they do-portawalls-at speed-80 M P H+. And on our tubeless tires they go between the tire and wheel in the bead area. My 59 Desoto had tube type tires. RIDE SAFE.

Bet there's a part of you that wishes you still had that '59 Desoto... Cars I've had that I should have kept! 1954 Ford 2 door. That 59 Desoto. 2 NOT 1 but 2 1956 Chevrolets. 1968 Olds Cutlass 2 door with buckets and a console mounted automatic with a 350 the P O had "tweaked". 1976 Olds Toronado with a 455 that would pass ANYTHING except a gas station. 70 Dodge 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive. And after the Olds Toronado econo boxes started showin up as the kids showed up! Oh-this one I would REALLY like to have back-1973 Chevy Suburban 1/2 ton with a 454 and a turbo-400 auto. The suburban would go further tween fillups but it had a 32? Gallon tank! Also like to have back my 1973 C B 500/4 that I bought Brand New and watched the dealer put it together. RIDE SAFE.

I think a 160-70-17 would fit the Valk, there seems to be plenty of room in the fender. But I would look at the circumference closely, might throw the speedo off even more.

Actually wouldn't that make the speedo closer to accurate ?

Found a website where you enter tire sizes and they give you diameter and circumference. I did the entry twice on the 140-80-17 and the 160-70-17. Believe it or not these 2 sizes show identical on both dia and circ. And slightly smaller than a 150-80-17. I'll see which size treats my wallet better! Went to my Honda dealer today and the parts guy found these same 2 sizes in whitewall and NO/NONE/NADA 150-80-17 in whitewall. Now IF I had a har-nah-I'll keep my Phatt Ghurl! RIDE SAFE.
